銀畔假日飯店(SilverSide Holidays)

Ótimo sítio para descansar. Limpo, confortável, espaçoso . Pena o temporal na noite que aí ficamos . Muito simpáticos e atenciosos . O pequeno almoço foi razoável, não com muita diversidade, mas suficiente . Bom sítio para ficar em família .

Nous avons découvert cet hébergement par hasard. C'est un véritable bijou. L'accueil de l'hôte est très agréable. La chambre est très grande. Elle est magnifique, décorée avec goût et très propre. La literie est également très bonne. Nous avons passé une très bonne nuit. Le petit déjeuner est à la hauteur des prestations. Il est tout simplement excellent. Notre regret c'est d'avoir découvert cet hébergement tardivement pendant notre séjour au Portugal et n'avons réservé qu'une seule nuit.

This is not a hotel but a small property renting out hotel-like rooms on the first floor and holiday apartments on the second. We stayed on the first floor. It was clean, spacious, and the pool was lovely. The manager, Sonia, was very pleasant and helpful. There were only two issues...the small one was that we could have used more towels as we had to use the same towel for the pool and our showers. (We traveled by plane from the US so of course could not pack our own pool towels.) This is easily fixable. The second is more of a challenge. The first floor does not have air conditioning, just a blower. (We were under the impression that the upper floor apartments have true air conditioning.) The sliding glass door could be opened in a secure fashion for additional ventilation but it was not enough and it was very stuffy in the room as we slept. We woke up at 3 am and opened the sliding glass wide enough to get the proper ventilation in the room but of course there is a security risk to this. And this was in October. I can't imagine staying there in July or August or even September without true air conditioning. Hoping that the property owners are able to upgrade because this is a nice place overeall.

We had a really nice and relaxing stay at the Silverline accomodation. The welcome was very warm and we received a lot of recommendations and information about the region and for our upcoming days. The host was very kind and did everything for a nice stay. The pool was clean and refreshing and easily accessible directly from the terrasse of the room. For breakfast, there was coffee, juice, bread, croissants and various toppings available. Not to forget to mention the really fair prices for the drinks in the minibar (bottle of wine 5 €). In total we would really recommend to stay at Silverline, we enjoyed it very much, hopefully we come back one day. Thanks a lot for the efforts to make it a good time.

Everything was perfect. Sonia the host greeted us and was there to help with whatever we needed. It was lovely to stay in a place that felt so warm and friendly which is so different from your typical hotel. It was so great that our room was on the ground level and we could access the pool directly from our room. We were traveling with our 2 year old and his bed was all made up and they even provided a hooded children’s towel which was a nice touch. Breakfast was delicious fresh bread from the village with an assortment of meats and cheeses, fruit, yogurt, cereal, jams and spreads which was perfect. We spent every night in São Martino do Porto which was just a 10 minute drive and it was a gorgeous beachfront with a great variety of restaurants and bars. We were lucky to be visiting during Portugal day so lots of festivities going on. Will 100% return to silverside!
