聖托裡尼白色水療套房飯店(White Santorini)

We booked White Santorini as a Grand Finale after four weeks of island hopping. We splurged for what we thought would be an amazing resort based on the portrayal through pictures and advertising. The location and view are lovely but no better than many other properties in the area. The facilities at the property are basically zero! First impressions from Reception area said it all, certainly not what you would expect for something portraying itself as a Luxury Resort. Upon checking in, we were presented with tours to book at exorbitant rates, transport services to get from A to B and were also advised we would need reservations for restaurants due to high demand or we were unlikely to get a table, all of which could be arranged through the hotel. The White Lounge recommended for our first evening was as cold and impersonal as the hotel. As seasoned travellers we did not appreciate this “fear style” of pressure. The pool on the lower level is basically a plunge pool. No larger than 3 strides, it felt as if we were intruding on other guests by being there. We were told the loungers were only for the guests staying on this level, which was fine, but perhaps a bench or something for guests in others suites to leave their belongings while cooling down would create a more welcoming atmosphere. We stayed at incredible resorts in Corfu, Paxos and Mykonos, all with incredible views, excellent facilities, beautiful clean rooms and wonderful personable staff & warm Greek hospitality. Each of the other resorts were less than one third of the cost of White Santorini and my advice would be to do your due diligence before booking this hotel. It is mediocre at least, certainly nothing more than a two star property charging prices of a 5+ property because of a view that can be had from many other places with far better facilities. Thomas, who served breakfast each morning was a joy and the room service ladies did a decent job. Overall, it is over rated, overpriced and certainly not to be recommended. Please look at other facilities before throwing away your hard earned money to stay at White Santorini.

Nous avons séjourné dans cet hôtel durant deux nuits en juillet 2022. Pour notre deuxième voyage sur l’île , nous avions choisi une chambre avec vue sur la caldeira et le coucher de soleil ( vue cachée par les passants qui s’arrêtent le long de la terrasse le soir) Effectivement , l’hôtel est très bien situé , proche du centre et facilement accessible à pieds. Malheureusement la vue depuis notre chambre est cachée par un muret. De plus , un chemin passe le long de la terrasse , beaucoup de passage car il s’agit du chemin reliant Fira à Oia. Nous avions également demandé une chambre avec jaccuzzi privé , nous avons été très déçus de nous rendez compte qu’en réalité le mot privé voulait dire que nous étions les seuls à pouvoir en profiter mais ce n’est pas pour autant qu’il était prive étant donné qu’il est à la vue de tous (autres résidents de l’hôtel et passants) Sur ce point nous trouvons que les informations venant de l’hôtel sont fausses et les photos pas du tout représentative de la réalité. Nous pouvions également profiter d’une piscine partagée avec plusieurs chambres , le bassin est relativement petit , la pompe fait énormément de bruit et une odeur d’évacuation est souvent présente. La chambre est belle , simple. Mais encore une fois nous avons été déçu car le nettoyage et changement des serviettes n’a pas été fait. Pour conclure , hormis la vue depuis la terrasse commune et l’accessibilité de l’établissement , nous ne sommes pas entièrement satisfaits de notre séjour ( surtout pour le prix demandé).

Siamo stati per la prima volta a Santorini, dogo dire che la scelta dell’hotel non è stata semplice, molta scelta più soluzioni… Oja o Imerovigli ….. alla vine abbiamo scelto il White…… appena arrivati la prima impressione è stata Wow !! Tutto come da aspettative location, accoglienza e Colazioni da Wow!

A savoir avant tout, le White a sa propre navette pour aller ou partir de l’aéroport. Nous avons payé 31,50 euros. Cet établissement ne possède pas de restaurant mais un encas peut être délivré en chambre le soir ( pizza, sandwich ). Le personnel est très accueillant et chaleureux. À notre arrivée, nous avons pu nous rafraîchir grâce à un jus de fruits qui nous a été offert. La chambre est propre, spacieuse et agréable. Nous avions notre propre jacuzzi et partagions une piscine avec deux autres chambres. La piscine n’est pas chauffée donc à cette époque impossible de s’y baigner, quant au jacuzzi, un vrai plaisir. La vue est à couper le souffle ! L’avantage de son emplacement, c’est qu’elle est dans une ville bien plus haute que Oia, et bien moins de touristes , c’est plus reposant. Le petit déjeuner est commandé la veille et servit en chambre. Il est copieux , l’orange est pressée. Vous avez plusieurs restaurants à proximité. Mesdames, les talons ne servent pas à grand chose , tout est en pente avec des escaliers. Bon srjou

Small hotel in a very good location with amazing views. However it really depends on what room you get. The deluxe suites are the ones with the best views, premium are very squeezed in and not private at all. The rooms are cute. Not much services offered through and a very small pool. Some of the rooms come with a jacuzzi however would have preferred them not to be heated in the summer as it's so hot anyway.

Everything was just perfect, the caldera view.. the staff were so helpful with every question we had! The breakfast was more than perfect, every morning you get it to your room, we had the junior villa. Loved the visit

If you're wondering where to book for your trip to Santorini look no further than the White Santorini hotel! We stayed in September 2023 (little late to write a review!) and it was the most incredible & perfect trip thanks to the wonderful staff and a special mention to the lovely Sofie who made our trip unforgettable! We stayed in the white annex suite and it was so beautiful & perfect, the views were out of this world! Sofie was amazing at helping us organise everything we needed from dinner reservations to the Catamaran cruise, horse riding & the couples spa which she reserved for us to have private facials & massages - definitely recommend!! She also helped organise all the transfers we needed and most importantly she helped my other half organise the most beautiful proposal during a private Candlelit dinner on their roof terrace and helped him get a photographer to capture the special moment. He afterwards told me how Sofie spent time going through all the weather forecasts hour by hour with him to make sure we had the right time & weather for sunset. Any request was never too much effort & she was so friendly which helped make the trip unforgettable. The location is a beautiful little town away from the really busy popular areas but there are local buses you can easily use to get to places like Fira & Oia but if you're looking for a more private, relaxing break we would definitely recommend the location! Santorini isn't a very private area as they are all built up on the cliffs so privacy is limited but we never felt overlooked or uncomfortable staying at the White annex. Thank you so much for making this trip more than we could have ever imagined, we will never forget it and hope to come back in the future! The White Santorini hotel will always have a special place in our heart!

Perfect position enhanced by wonderful staff who made our stay so memorable. Particular mention for Thomas our ever smiling waiter and barman. Sofia and Thanos in reception were also very accommodating and full of suggestions and information. We had a junior suite leading out to two plunge pools and uninterrupted views of the caldera, the island of Thirasia and the village of Oia at the tip of the island. Having these views whilst enjoying the generous breakfast each morning was a delight. The costal path is directly accessible from the property. This allows a short walk to Thira old port or for the adventurous, a hike to Oia. We will definitely be coming back to Santorini and this property in the future and will be recommending it to our friends.
