日落汽車旅館(Sunset Motel)

Not that great . Small room . Maid was taking a lunch break in my room after cleaning while I sat in parking lot for an already late checkin .

The beds were very comfortable and it was a large room which made it more comfortable than the smaller rooms that you find in newer hotels. Probably the best thing I liked about this place was the large shower and the water pressure in the shower. Obviously this hotel is pretty old and although it was very clean and tidy you could tell that there was a lot of wear and tear on some of the Furniture and the walls and even some of the flooring entering the bathroom.

Good location. Very walk able. Felt safe in room. Was clean. Only thing was when I put the light on in the bathroom the fan was making an awful loud noise. I was afraid to put it on because it may have been heard upstairs, but I'm not sure. Has mini fridge with small freezer and coffee machine in room. Gives shampoo samples but no conditioner and lotion.

As a solo female traveler, this motel felt very unsafe. The bathroom window lock was broken (no lock on the window) and I had no cell service in the room. At 1:00 a.m., I woke up to the sound of someone right outside my room. I peeked out the window and saw a hooded person leaning against the door. I kicked the door hard and they left, but I didn’t feel comfortable falling asleep the rest of the night. In the morning when I left, there were food wrappers all over the ground outside of my room, so I assume the individual had posted up there for a while before I scared them away. Also, the room felt very unclean and was in poor shape. The curtains were stained with what looked like blood, paint was peeling off the walls, and there was a piece of cotton shoved in what once would have been the peephole.

I I was given a room at the top of the stairs and it was incredibly noisy because the hotel was sold out. Hard surface flooring meant that sound traveled and I heard everything all night unfortunately. Otherwise, a reasonable hotel for a reasonable rate

It was ok, good location. No breakfast items or 24 hour front desk. Very run down room in deep need of repairs. Had a microwave and refrigerator which was great. TV was good. Bed sloped in the middle. Walks very thin. Get what you pay for!!

Great place to stay when in Santa Barbara. Both my daughters live there so I stay there regularly. Quiet and everything you need in all around you. Great restaurants a mall and Target are within walking distance

The person at the front desk was never there whenever we went. There was breakfast advertised but there was no breakfast, the maid said she had already spoken to the owner about taking it down but it was still up. The room was clean but the paint on the walls and door was chipped or had weird stains on them. Everything else in Santa Barbara was booked otherwise I would never have stayed here. The nerve to charge over $200.

Room was dirty and run down and had a very strong odor of perfume which caused allergies for me. WiFi did not work.
