The location of this hotel is unbeatable. It's right on the beach, walkable to everything and unbelievable views of the Atlantic. However, for the price, there was a lot left to be desired.
From the get go, our check-in process was extremely slow, the computers wouldn't read our passports, then wouldn't print our key cards, etc. Nothing at the front desk seemed to work.
Then once in our room, we found out late at night that the air-conditioning did not work and got up to 26 degrees in the room. After complaining, the staff said they would call maintenance, however, it was still not working the next evening.
After complaining again, other patrons overheard and also voiced their concern that they have been complaining about the air-conditioning not working in their rooms for 3 days but no-one has done anything about it. The front desk told us they can escalate it again but if they can't fix it, then basically too bad. This didn't sit well with us so they finally actually sent someone to fix it. Although it wasn't ideal, they managed to get it down to 21.5 so we could at least sleep the last few nights.
As well, the phones at the front desk didn't work, there was a hole in floor in both rooms we booked (double rooms ocean view with terrace). Overall, for the price this hotel cost, it was very disappointing and seemed like nothing worked properly.
We would not stay here again as they rely only on their location to charge a premium.
