聖何塞機場拉昆塔溫德姆套房飯店(La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham San Jose Airport)

Room was spacious and comfortable. Everyone was wonderful as far as staff went. Originally gave a key to the wrong room but fixed it by coming to us so that was nice. Breakfast was just okay. Was hoping for a little bit better since we paid a little more for the room hoping to be able to eat there before we left each day for tournaments. We opted not to have our room cleaned every day but they did bring us fresh towels when asked. We had heard there were some smashing grabs in the area so we took no chances and basically took everything in but the parking lot did appear well lit and safe.

A lot more than what meets the eye when you first pull in! Rooms were very spacious, breakfast was ok except they didn't have the waffle machine working that was sitting on there on the counter, which was kind of big bummer. They also have a full bar but it was closed for whatever reason and not stocked at all. The breakfast and bar were the main reasons we booked this hotel too. Oh and one last thing, someone at the front desk apparently "accidentally" set off the FIRE ALARM in the entire hotel. At about 1:30AM the fire alarm sirens started blaring. I didn't smell smoke and didn't see or hear any panic when I went outside. I came out of our room and looked down the hallways and there was NO ONE to be found... Searched around (all while deafening sirens are blaring right outside our door) at 1AM and all of a sudden, after about 5 or so minutes of frantically trying to find a fire or anything, the sirens stopped. Extremely confused and also a bit irritated at 2am, we called the front desk after not hearing anything from anyone about if we were in danger or not. They answered finally and we told them that the fire alarm had been going off... The front desk person said "Yes, we know, we took care of it." Like it's a normal occurrence and we should've known I guess... So, confused again, we asked "Sooo, was it just an accident?" And all they replied with was "Yes." Without so much as an apology. And that was that So, be prepared, if staying here, that might happen! Just forewarning. 🤷

Conseguir que meu quarto fosse limpo arrumado diariamente foi um esforço. Fiquei 19 dias e meu quarto não era limpo. Apesar de solicitar “full cleaning” no front desk, não tive sucesso. Tive um problema com a privada, pedi a manutenção e não vieram. Tive que resolver sozinha. Não voltarei a me hospedar neste hotel. A localização foi muito boa para nós e a cama muito confortável. Os fatores limpeza e atendimento não atenderam nossos padrões.

Staff was pleasant, not informative: gave no information about breakfast location/hours at check-in. Property is older and you can tell: some efforts to upgrade noticeable. Bathroom had an old/sour or molding smell. Stairways/hallways old and noisy, bedroom walls have markings, sink (outside the bathroom) had cracked markings; faucet handle (while updated) makes it hard to control water temp and flow.

The beds were very comfortable, our room was clean and pretty. Amenities of desk, chaise, coffee, mini refrigerator and microwave were helpful. The breakfast buffet had nice selections. Parking on one side of the building was not as well lit but it wasn’t difficult to see at night. We are decided to return next time we come to San Jose. Thank you staff for all you did to make our stay enjoyable.

For the price point of $95/night I was very satisfied. You can hear people in a joining rms. Decor was your typical farmhouse look. Rm was clean. Stains on carpet and dented lamp shades reflect the price point. Internet was strong as was the water pressure. There is a Burger King next to the hotel. Will need to drive a couple miles for food/restaurants that don’t come in a bag. Felt safe and appreciated that the doors to the outside were locked. Also, there are elevators.

First, we tried to call this property at least a dozen times the day before we arrived. There was either no answer or we were hung up on, every time! We arrived early and were told we would Have to wait until the 3PM check in. Then we inquired about their supposed '24 hour shuttle' to the airport. Our intention was to drop our luggage in the room, return the rental car on time, and take the shuttle back to the hotel, then use the shuttle in the mornings to go back to the airport. The person who appeared to be the manager told us we could only have One shuttle ride, and that they did not shuttle, but called for an Uber instead! It ended up we had to extend our car rental for a day, costing us $50. The room itself was ok, except the tub was so high it would be difficult/dangerous to try and step into it. Overall a poorly managed and advertised property.
