Sept 3-6, 2024 We were a group of 6 and stayed in the 2BD Ix Chel Villa and Junior suite. The 2BD villa has a hot tub in addition to the pool. The junior suite has a pool. Both have air conditioning. The 2BD villa has a large living room/dining room area that was perfect for us to gather in between our actives. There are games, cookies, and coffee bar in the room. No Tv. We had a private butler who was professional, helpful and fun to be around. It was my birthday and she set us up a dinner party in a private area and had it decorated with balloons, flowers and a birthday dessert. She did this on her own. We did not request it! A daily breakfast was included and it was delish. Lunch and dinner were reasonably priced and excellent. We only stayed 3 nights b/c we moved to Manta Island for the 2nd half of the trip. But we wish we could've stayed one extra night. One the first full day, we took an offsite cave tubing and maya ruins tour (St. Leonards), came back around 7 PM for a beautiful outside dinner and did the night hike. Next day we were able to tour the butterfly house and museum, take a cooking class, a do the onsite side by side tour of the property. All were great fun. - If we had more time we would have taken a canoe ride down the river or done horseback riding. Weather was great except for arrival day- it was a monsoon, but it was over in about an hour.

The Lodge at Chaa Creek was amazing. My family of six stayed in two cottages that had two queen beds and a bathroom along with a patio. We loved the views from our patio. We enjoyed the beautiful resort. The pool area was awesome, with Ezra who was our attendant. He was friendly, prompt with service and helpful with suggestions. We also fully enjoyed the bar with Duane the bar tender. He makes great drinks, and was also helpful with recommending restaurants for the second half of our trip in San Pedro. We loved horse back riding, the RTV tour, the butterfly tour and bird watching in the morning. We got to see the organic farms, and wood shop as well. I would highly recommend The Lodge at Chaa Creek, it is absolutely one of the best resorts we have stayed at.

Such an amazing nature retreat. Candi was so helpful with all the planning and Duane at the bar made the best drinks! The staff overall are so nice and helpful! The property is beautiful, and there’s so much to do! Also there’s some amazing birds and wildlife in the area

Hard to write a review to do justice to the resort. From the moment we arrived to the moment we were dropped off at our next resort the service and attention to detail were immaculate. We stayed for 4 nights in the Wright house which was ideal for our family of five. It was really comfortable and loved sitting on the chaise lounge before dinner looking out at the mountains and listening to the wildlife. It is a 5min walk to the resort but an uphill 10min walk back which was no issue. The food at the restaurant was the best we had in Belize. The breakfast was my personal favourite. The grounds and the infinity pool are fantastic. The bar with the rum infusions was great for pre and post dinner drinks (the guava kiwi mojitos were so good). Did the canoeing trip to the market and horse riding which were excellent. Don’t think about it - just go, you won’t regret it

We were planing on staying for our honeymoon in the treetops and we sent them our contract after dealing with them for a week and the next day we got an email saying they sold our room to someone else

We can’t say enough good things about our four days at Chaa Creek. Most importantly, everyone who works there made us feel welcome and well cared for. The property is stunning! The food is delicious, and nearly all ingredients are locally grown and incredibly fresh. The rum, gin, and tequila infusions made by Dwane the bartender were creative and really delirious. All servers and bartenders were top notch. Our cooking class with chef Lubi was super fun and informative, and the food was truly delicious. Our guides and drivers were all knowledgeable, fun, and professional. Standouts were Yumi and Israel (Tikal), Kievlan (cave tubing), Edward (driver and bird enthusiast), Luis (night critter walk), and Edwin (morning bird walk).

Gorgeous property with many nature trails, beautiful pool, butterfly conservatory, canoes and tubing plus horseback riding. The staff is simply wonderful. They truly go out of their way to be friendly and accommodating The food was consistently wonderful as were the cocktails. It is THE place to go in this area of Belize. Many of the rooms do not have air conditioning so I would recommend getting a room with AC.

This is the most accommodating resort I have ever been at! We came as a group of 9. we have special dietary restrictions and Chaa did everything to accommodate us! The actual grounds make you not want to leave from the bird watching, butterfly exhibit to the tubing down the river. The pool is so relaxing and overall it was a relaxing amazing stay. ( some of the rooms don’t have AC and it does get hot. We asked for additional fans and it was fine for us but just be aware that it can be hot in the rooms). The food was absolutely delicious and the staff was amazing, we would definitely return! - we visited some other resorts on our stay and this was truly our favorite. Thanks for such a wonderful stay!

It was beautiful and the adventures they supplied were amazing. We enjoyed everything and everyone. Can not recommend this place enough.
