The Manor House Inn is one of CTs best kept secrets. The ambiance, the decor, the warmth and the delicious breakfast is so incredible. You have to see it to believe it. There is so much to explore locally with a short driving distance. Everything was perfect, we will be back!!

What a wonderfully dreamy guest house! I recently stayed at The Manor House when my colleagues and I held our annual retreat. We couldn’t have asked for more gorgeous accommodations. From the stunning stained glass windows to the immaculate gardens and from the delicious farm-to-table meal, and the tiny but oh-so-important details — like board games, signature mugs, and in-room amenities - the innkeepers and staff have thought of everything. If you’re looking for a getaway where you can rest, relax, and revel in beautiful surroundings, book your stay at The Manor House!

Our stay at the Manor House Inn was exactly what we needed. The architecture was stunning, the room was cozy and impeccably clean, the food was delicious and nourishing, the staff was charming and warm, and the area is quintessential New England. When you close your eyes and imagine a Connecticut Inn, this is it. My wife who has a very, very sensitive dust mite allergy registered ZERO reaction which we have never experienced before at any other inn. Thanks so much to the amazing staff. We'll be back!

We had a wonderful weekend at the Manor House Inn! The property was clean, charming, and the Innkeeper was a wonderful host. The grounds are beautiful and they made you feel right at home. We will be back!

From the wonderful welcome by Janine to the delicious breakfast, everthing was perfect here. The inn is gorgeous inside with different common rooms to relax in. We loved the tea and treats put out in the afternoon/ evenings. We stayed in the English Garden suite and it was beautiful and very romantic with a large soaking tub and a super comfy bed with exceptional linens. The Manor Inn is in a picture perfect setting. We had dinner at the Norfolk Pub minutes away and it was great as was Mario's Tuscany Frill in Winsted, a short drive. From farms, waterfalls, sweet little villages, and covered bridges there is much to see and great places for hiking. We will be back for sure!

If you are looking for a quiet getaway with great service, the Manor House Inn is one of the best places to go in Connecticut. An extremely romantic experience for couples. The breakfast is a five star meal.

Rooms are great, staff superb, great quiet location, welcoming lobby, various rooms to relax and read by fire - Perfect!!! Inn within walking distance to town, place to relax, read, close to hiking trails, breweries, wineries.

Exceptional in all ways. Gourmet breakfasts, beautiful house and grounds, elegant bedroom, wonderful staff.
