Had a lovely weekend stay at this hotel. Very conveniently located near the front. Plenty of shops, bars and restaurants nearby. The hotel has a nice chilled vibe and very friendly owners and staff. Decent sized rooms and well equipped. Large powerful shower and good stock of tea and coffee. The cooked to order breakfast was lovely and the benefit of a parking voucher was very convenient. Wouldn’t hesitate staying here again and hope to do so.

Great location near the centre of Dar**outh. Nice bedroom and good food for breakfast and dinner. Welcoming and friendly hosts. A well-stocked bar with a god choice of cocktails, beers and wines. We had a room facing the street, but there is little traffic and the window was double glazed - so we were not disturbed.

We can not complement the team at Browns enough, after a mix up with our pre booked accommodation Browns came to our rescue with fabulous dog friendly accommodation. Excellent customer service, lovely room and brilliant breakfast, we would highly recommend it.

Lovely hotel with good central location to the town of Dar**outh and both ferry services. Cosy bar area, good breakfast with plenty of options, including the full English with high quality produce. Clean and tidy room with en-suite and friendly welcoming staff.

A warm welcome and a glass of fizz offered on arrival! Clean reasonably sized room with nice decor. Ensuite fine too. Great location which was quiet as well as being a very quick and flat walk to river front/town. Parking voucher for £8 in public car park (again very close by) but could park outside hotel to drop off and collect luggage. Cooked breakfast was tasty and not to heavy. The bread for the toast could be improved.

This is a hidden gem!! A family run hotel in a great location, fabulous attention to detail, really warm & friendly staff. Food was fantastic and amenities were great. We stayed for two days just after Easter this year and we would definitely return!

We stayed at Browns in early January 2024. It was a really lovely place, very good location and parking provided a couple of minutes walk away. The rooms were spacious and provided everything needed. We enjoyed dinner the night we arrived which was very tasty. If you are vegan I would recommend you ask for what you need as the wonderful people running the hotel and restaurant are more than happy to meet your needs.
