郎格維利莊園飯店(Longueville Manor)

We came back to Longueville for a short break, we have been going there for many many years now and have never had a bad stay. The hotel staff are just a pleasure, happy and fun who cannot do enough for you during your stay , the food is exceptional together with their wine selection. We are already looking forward to going back later in the year. A big thank you to all the team.

We booked to eat at the restaurant and were extremely excited to experience the 5 star cuisine of this highly renowned restaurant in such a beautiful Manor House on the outskirts of St Helier. As vegetarian/vegans we were delighted to find a choice on the menu of not only starters but Main course and dessert too, so our expectations were high. However, we were presented with an Amuse Bouche by the very pleasant waitress who described it as something with anchovies. Clearly the waiting team weren't all on the same page! This was swiftly replaced by a nice vegan alternative. Of two starters chosen, the Roast Autumnal Vegetables was a serious disappointment. Described with vegetable crisps, and tofu, (which the waitress called Halloumi) the dish was devoid of vegetable crisps and any discernable flavour; not pleasant. Of the two main courses we chose, the Salt baked Celeriac was most definitely not salt baked! At best it was steamed, and insufficiently at that as it was still hard! This dish was inedible. The spicey Aubergine was a poorly executed dish, with uncooked parsnips, only lightly flavoured and sp**** aubergine clumsily cut and prepared. We declined dessert as by that time we had lost our appetite. We were asked for feedback which was received by the restaurant manager very positively, however we left extremely disappointed and concerned for vegans who may visit after us. We hope this review is received positively by the chef, and that he reacts in a constructive way to improve the vegan offering. The venue and the ambience here is great, but the offering needs to be improved if it is going to justify the fairly hefty price tag.

We treated ourselves to an overnight stay for my Birthday, and it was an utterly beautiful experience. When we pulled into the car park, Benson met us with a big smile and as part of checking in for our first time, he gave us a tour of the grounds and showed us to our room. The hotel had very kindly given us an upgrade to our room, which was unexpected but lovely. We enjoyed a cocktail before dinner, in the cosy lounge, then had a stunningly beautiful dinner. We had perhaps thought we might feel a bit out of place here, as it is a fancy establishment, but all the staff made us feel very welcome, and the food portions were just right, not fancy but small, instead very tasty and not too big. Breakfast in the morning was nice too. We would have loved to stay longer, but it isn't cheap to stay here. We loved the special deal we had though, so very grateful for the opportunity to finally get to stay here, and we'll definitely be back for another treat at some point. Thanks again to all the staff (and the hotel cat!), for making us very welcome and giving us a lovely stay :-)

5 star from the second we got out of the car. It was pouring with rain and we were greeted at the car with umbrellas which was lovely. The room was incredible as was the service throughout. We had a meal in the restaurant which was incredible from start to finish.

This hotel Longueville Manor is very near to capital of St Helier which is not one of nicest place in Jersey because of hustle bustle traffic congestion though there are plenty of very nice places to visit such as parks and Howard Davies Park and shopping centre etc such as it is still the main capital good and bad areas like most cities towns This hotel is in its own grounds beautiful gardens to sit and ponder to enjoy and lovely flora and fauna and if lucky may see some wildlife birds gulls gullimot maybe squirrels Longueville is somewhere always wanted to stay though very expensive first class only here few days it was very agreeable most enjoyable well run hotel by people persons who understand guests needs and provide top class service and though few cons negatives most positives not negetives from room we were provided and bed was very large soft good quality bedding and immaculate clean bed room bath rooms and all very good toiletries and tea coffee plentiful beautifully decorated clean tidy well presented extremely comfortable hotel relaxing decadant spacious splendid faultless Breakfast dining experiences second to none light bright comfortable room and variety of choices of food As long time visitor to channel islands from North England we love the island of Jersey and love west coast east north and south snd its durrelke trust conservatiin jersey pearl and delightful unbusy beaches and cliff top walks and st ouen and corbiere and the castle on east at gorey and golf courses too and its my favourite also enjoy Visits to Guernsey and Herm and Sark and Herm my favourite and live to visit Alderney one day and scilly isles near Cornwall too where I enjoyed many childhood holidays Longueville Manor delights will charm all who lucky to visit though expensive a very enjoyable treat luxury experience

Went to lunch today with the family but was disappointed as not a patch on previous years, service not as attentive and hotel doesn’t seem to have the same atmosphere as in previous years. Definitely not as good as previously due to decorations and menu. Vegan menu was lacking in taste until the desert which the apple crumble was delicious. Glad to see that for the second year year they have kept the cheese board, used to be my family”s favourite place for pre Xmas lunch or dinner. Restaurant was not full which surprised us but the food was not as exceptional as in previous years. For the money you want the whole experience

Das Hotel ist gut geführt und schön gelegen. Sehr gutes Frühstück und empfehlenswertes Restaurant. Schöne Parkanlage. Allerdings etwas abseits und entfernt vom Meer gelegen. Ein PKW ist unbedingt erforderlich. Tadelloser Service.

Now that the restaurant has a comprehensive vegetarian menu this is a fabulous hotel to visit. What makes it really special is the incredible team who work there. They are welcoming and attentive and we really enjoy staying there.

Excellent accueil, surclassement de la chambre, adorables attentions tout au long de notre séjour, un service et un personnel irréprochable, le restaurant est délicieux, petit déjeuner à la carte avec beaucoup de choix, l’hôtel est sublime, les jardins les infrastructures tout à été parfait et nous vous remercions infiniment pour votre accueil nous reviendrons avec le plus grand plaisir
