歐瑪洛店(Ommaroo Hotel)

We had an overall good experience. The dining staff are superior. The front staff is usually available and always accomodating. The hotel appears to have been recently renovated, and we had a ground floor room facing the back. All of this was fine, however, there is not air conditioning and not a good way to ventilate the room. The hotel is well located for beach access with a few restaurant and shop options.

Wonderful hotel. Beautiful sea view from the hotel. The beach is just across the road. Clean and neat room. Spacious room. Good breakfast with varieties. Good dinner but have to book as it gets busy. Very friendly and very helpful staff. Staff Joanna was great with tourist advices and booked me various tours. Town centre and Liberation Square within 10 to 15 mins walk or can a bus. The bus stop is just outside the hotel. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this hotel. I will definitely will go back when I visit Jersey next.

A travelling hockey team with 9 rooms booked some twin rooms and some single occupancy rooms. Slight confusion at first but all sorted without any disruption to ourselves & most of all with a smile laughter. The rooms were fairly basic but very clean and maintained to a very good condition. The breakfast was good quality produce, clean and well presented. The location for our team was perfect. An early swim in the lido & a coffee on the beach with only a short stroll into town for the entertainment. Every member of staff was polite , happy & helpful to all of our requirements….saying that , so were all of us..respectful , grateful for the service. Thank you to all at Ommaroo Hotel

Lovely big room with a great outlook to the sea and Victorian lido. Very clean. Generous tea/coffee, milk etc in room. Good breakfast choice. Staff very courteous. Would stay again

Great hotel and great service. Staff are very friendly, breakfast was lovely, choice of hot and cold buffet, tea, coffee, juices etc... Room was modern and clean. Hotel pool was clean, lido opposite was brilliant for a dip. Lots of pubs and restaurants close by. Shops, bars and restaurants in St. Helier are only a 10 minute walk away. Bus stop close by. We really enjoyed our stay. Free use of carpark a plus too.

Lovely hotel with spectacular views. A little dated in places but our room was clean, bright and sunny and had all the amenities we needed for a 5 night stay. Breakfast was excellent, buffet style and the lovely staff brought coffee, tea, toast and pastries to our table every morning. We sat overlooking the beach and it was a wonderful start to our day. We were fortunate to have amazing weather when we visited Jersey so the hotel pool was a welcome treat, it was a shame there weren’t enough sun beds as so many guests wanted to enjoy the pool area. It may be worth investing in some more! Our only negative was that the lift wasn’t working during our stay which made it difficult for some of our party who aren’t in the best of health but the reception staff tried their very best by changing our room to a lower floor and carrying our suitcases to our room - thank you. All the staff at the hotel were so friendly and helpful - Nikki on reception was fab finding bus timetables, calling taxis for us and just lots of general information. Tracey was great at breakfast and always had a big smile! I would recommend this lovely hotel and hope to return when we next visit Jersey.

The lift was out of order and had been, quote "for quite a while". We were given a room on the third floor up steep narrow staircase. My husband is 82 (fortunately fit for his age). Some of the part time staff were friendly but others not so much. One we named the Ice Maiden. Despite us saying goodbye when we left, neither of the two at reception looked up let alone said goodbye. Didn't feel they gave a toss.

The room was booked as double we had 2 singles pushed together.The brekfast was passable but lacked a 3 star rating. The resturant was small and the food good but booking was hard and inflexible.The reception desk staff were most unhelpful and the whole experience was very underwhelming.
