My wife and I are locals to the city this hotel was located in and was looking for a hotel to spend our 6 month wedding anniversary at. We chose this hotel and were glad we did. When we walked into our room, the 50+" tv had a welcoming message for us on the screen. The hotel looked great with the lively colors. The location was great. It was walking distance to a couple of places to eat and a gas station and within a short driving distance from more places to eat. The bed we had was big and comfy. The shower was roomy and had the shampoo, conditionor and body wash attached to the wall in useable tube, which was cool. Overall, we are going to use this hotel as our hotel if we want a little staycation getaway.

Our stay was wonderful. We came for our Holy Convocation. This is the first time we've stayed in a TRU hotel. The staff was wonderful and very accommodating. No complaints about breakfast, it was hot and fresh daily. Our room was very clean as well. Will definitely stay here again.

Our initial impression of the facility was negative due to the older lady at the front desk. She was not very welcoming when greeting us nor apologetic regarding the time it took to check us in which was over 20 minutes. When we finally got to the room the AC was not working which required me to go back down to the check-in desk. Fortunately, another front desk clerk who was actually preparing to leave for the day assisted us by attempting to fix the AC and then eventually provided us with a different room assignment - she was wonderful - I wish I had gotten her name. Both rooms were exceptionally clean which pleased me to no end. The entire facility was very nice and impeccably clean. Everyone on the staff (from housekeeping to the numerous front desk staff we engaged with over the course of our stay) was very nice and accommodating with the exception of our initial check-in clerk. I would highly recommend this location but recommend they better train some of their staff.

Enjoyed my stay. Wish housekeeping was explained better. I was there from Thursday to Sunday with no housekeeping services. Front desk did provide extra towels when I called. Overall nice hotel. Would recommend.

Good stay checkin staff was more invested in her conversation on her phone then checking people in

I loved the bare floors. So much better than carpet, where you never know how clean/dirty it is! I also loved the soap dispenser in the bathroom. I'm a firm believer in washing my hands after I've been out in public, and with bar soap, it gets messy. With the dispenser, I just squeezed some soap and washed, and I was good to go. It's the little things. The room was huge! And I liked the curtain/shade controls. The only drawback was breakfast.

Property was nice, we ended up next to a noisy room, I called the front desk 10 times and the after hours number and no one answered. Apon check in, I walked in the front door. There was a sign stating will be back in 5-7 minutes. I waited for 15 minutes before someone could check us in.

First issue is that they tried to charge me a second time at check in for a room we had already prepaid for before arrival. We flat out refused. Second issue is that we could hear a lot of noise, and the wall ac/heat unit did not allow constant fan. Third issue is that they deactivated my room key before I checked out, causing me to have to go to the desk and get it reactivated to get my luggage after breakfast. Fourth issue is that the lady at checkout had an attitude with me when I inquired about why they tried to charge me twice the previous night.

First time at Tru. Could hear noise from all the surrounding rooms - above us and beside us. Not very disruptive but noticeable
