聖靈歷史宮殿飯店(Spirito Santo Palazzo Storico)

Good customer service they will make you feel welcome. However, the hotel room is more of a design instead of being functional. Stayed for a night and you need to open windows because there is no aircon since its October. You can hear all the noise since it is a small hotel. It is warm and I did not sleep well since I closed the windows.

Located in the old part of the town, where there are no vehicles allowed. It is not the easiest to locate this luxury boutique hotel, as the entrance is located on a narrow laneway off one of the cobblestone streets (Ul. Augusta Ferrija). There is limited signage marking the entrance due to compliance with strict heritage requirements. The staff there are so helpful, the provided an electric golf buggy to direct me where I could park (near the monastery) and then drove us and our luggage back to the hotel. The exterior of the building is very nondescript however the interior is amazing - white stone floors and walls, black leather and bronze fittings. It immediately oozes luxury, whilst respects the heritage of the building. Whoever did the interior design knew exactly what they were doing. We had a deluxe room on the first floor, with its own private terrace overlooking the inner courtyard. There was no elevator/lift but the staff took all our luggage to and from our room. The room itself was opulent but retained the rustic nature of the original building. The bathroom was modern and very sleek, with designer Chopard cosmetics. The bed was so large and comfortable which made it hard to wake up in the morning. The breakfast was equally amazing - it was the best hotel breakfast that we had in Croatia. The staff were so discrete and professional - a real credit to the hotel. Everybody was so cheerful and helpful - got some great dining suggestions from the front of house staff. When we ever come back to Rovinj I will be booking my stay at Hotel Spirito Santo without question.

Hotel molto bello, palazzo storico elegantemente ristrutturato, mantenendo comunque l'immagine originale. Camere molto belle, con una caratteristica della città, visione dai terrazzini delle camere situati direttamente sui tetti del centro storico. Colazione ottima, ben servita. Personale gentile, anche se qualche carenza/mancanza sul servizio ha abbassato la qualità complessiva.

Abbiamo soggiornato tre giorni, la suite era molto curata e pulita. Ottimo il benvenuto: sono venuti ad accoglierci e accompagnarci al parcheggio, poi ci hanno trasportato all'hotel con un veicolo elettrico. Gentile l'aperitivo di benvenuto. L'ampliamento della nuova ala (agosto 2023) è un uno con la precedente del 2016. Il recupero dei locali è esemplare. L'offerta per la colazione è ampia, abbondante e sono disponibili per ogni richiesta. Gentilezza e attenzione sono da 10 e lode. Bravi.

The room was gorgeous! Beautifully decorated and unbelievably clean. Upon a late arrival, we were picked up at our car, as there is no parking in the town. When we arrived at the hotel at nearly 10pm, we were greeted by a staff member and were seated in their lounge. We were then served a glass of wine and hors d’ oeuvres, and then escorted to our room. Our entire stay was delightful, due to the warm, helpful and friendly staff.

The level of service and attention to detail was outstanding. We loved the wide variety of local foods at breakfast and the cozy dining area. The team at the front desk and in the dining room were so attentive to our every need. Always with a warm smile. If you want a cozy, quaint hotel in the heart of old town, with excellent service this boutique hotel is for you.

The hotel is situated on block from the marina in an excellent location. The rooms were clean, tastefully decorated with many amenities not common to other hotels. The staff, Tanya in the dining room , Marin at check in , the front office staff , housekeeping and the driver that assisted and coordinated managing our luggage to and from our car, were courteous, friendly and helpful We had the pleasure of meeting and spending time with the owner, Janez Bidovec. Mr. Bidovec takes pride in his ownership of every detail in the bathroom accessories, fine linens and towels to the plates and cups used in the dining room. We received a welcome drink with a charcuterie board on arrival. The dining room served a fresh elegant buffet breakfast. In addition, there was a separate menu to order personalized omelets any variation of eggs and fluffy crepe pancakes Our room was a standard room. It had an attached sitting room with an outdoor patio. They also have suites available I would give the hotel and staff 10 stars. I highly recommend this hotel and if I had the opportunity to return to Rovinj I would stay here again

We absolutely LOVED Hotel Spirito Santo!! In planning our holiday, I spoke with/emailed the hotel several times regarding our plans, arrival, etc., and they could not have been more helpful. The friendly, well-trained staff arranged to have a taxi meet us at the rental car drop-off when we arrived in Rovinj after a long day at Plitvice NP, and quickly got us checked in, taking our bags to our room while we sat in the airy, light-filled interior courtyard enjoying a welcome drink. The hotel is nestled in a quiet part of the Old Town, in a collection of buildings brilliantly renovated and cleverly designed to make the best use of the space, creating a charming overall effect, with exposed brick, open terraces and a lovely sense of place. Our room, Monte, was large and airy with views of the sea. The bed was made using high-quality linens on a excellent mattress and the bathroom set-up was well-thought-out, with fluffy towels and bathrobes, high-end bath products, a bidet and a heated towel bar. The hotel also provided beach towels. We had a little, private roof-top terrace that we entered via a small stairway through a retractable glass roof. The views were stunning, and it was a delightful place to enjoy an excellently prepared cocktail after a busy day of sightseeing and swimming. The hotel was kept spotlessly clean, and Tanya worked very hard to keep everyone happy with a beautiful breakfast buffet and eggs to order. The staff provided excellent concierge services, such as making touring and restaurant suggestions/reservations and arranging for a private car to drive us to Venice at the end of our stay. Rovinj and Hotel Spirito Santo were one of the highlights of our trip. NOTE: Due to its design and layout, the rooms are accessed via stairs, and the hotel has no elevator, so if you have mobility issues, contact the hotel before booking, as this may not be the place for you.
