康尼馬拉沙灘 Spa 海灘飯店(Connemara Sands Hotel & Spa)

Ein tolles Hotel! Wir haben für 3 Nächte eines der Self Catering Cottages gebucht und fühlten uns sehr sehr wohl! Alles sehr sauber und gepflegt! Da das Restaurant & Bar wie auch der Spa genau in unserer Woche geschlossen hatte, kann leider darüber nicht berichtet werden.

Attention, les maisonnettes louées par cet établissement ne correspondent en rien à un 4 étoiles. C’est sale, usé, canapé lit devant être utilisé pour dormir était exécrable, plein de poussières et saletés, vieillot, très peu d ustensiles, managers désagréables et sans aucune emphatie. Vraiment dommage car la région est magnifique.

I led a group of 25 Episcopalians on pilgrimage to Connemara and stayed at the Connemara Sands. Dean and his staff exceeded every expectation. The hotel is exquisite, the food superb, the staff friendly and helpful, and the surroundings unbelievably beautiful. If six stars were allowed, the Connemara Sands would have them. If you are headed to the west of Ireland, this is the place to stay.

Beautiful hotel in a stunning location. The staff were very helpful, friendly and professional. Food was delicious, breakfast was perfectly cooked and the girls in the morning were always smiling and chatty. The high point of the weekend was the Spa. The treatments were wonderful and the Spa area was small but cosy and very relaxing. The only negative was that we were only there for 2 nights, we will definitely be back for a longer stay.

What a gem of a hotel in a beautiful part of the West of Ireland. The sea view rooms give a spectacular view of the bay and the fantastic landscape. The rooms are very comfortable and cosy. Breakfast and dinner were always to be looked forward to as the food was brilliant to say the least. There is loads to do here, walking, kayaking, sauna, hot tub and a beautiful beach.... no need to leave. All of this was presented to us by Dean, Kathy and their wonderful staff, so friendly and efficient. They could not do enough for us. A special word of thanks to Marion at Reception who really went out of her way to help! We will certainly be back!

Such a peaceful location right on a “Robinson Crusoe” sandy beach with white sand and clear blue water where we chose to lose ourselves after meals. The greeting from the young lady on reception set us off well with her warm and friendly manner. Our room was a little limited on storage space but for our two nights that was no issue. Furnished nicely. Food was, put simply lovely and a real highlight especially breakfast (especially the pancakes!). Connemara is beautiful and this hotel compliments it

Room was lovely, and we enjoyed the spa, beach, and bar. The breakfast is top-notch: breads, pastries, yogurt, granola, juices, plus anything you'd like cooked to order. Staff was friendly and helpful. This is a great choice for a relaxing stay.

The hotel has a good location 15-20 minutes drive from Clifden, The great features of the location are the views and the hotel’s own extensive beach (though :almost completely covered at high tide). The hotel buildings rather sprawl, however, and don’t have much character. We had three nights in a “Deluxe Suite Bay View” (room 211)) which had a massive amount of room, with double bedroom, twin bedroom, bathroom and large sitting room with views. In contrast, though, the fittings in the suite are a bit utilitarian e.g the shelves, the flimsy shower scree over the bath, the toilet seat that didn’t fit. The outstanding feature of the hotel is the food, all excellent. For the dinners, I particularly enjoyed the oysters, and the lobster pie. Breakfasts were also very good. Throughout our stay, the staff were efficient and friendly.

This hotel is a hidden gem. The rooms are big, clean, everything you need and more. The views from our room are like paintings! The food is always amazing, good choice, great service and local produce. The amenities are growing with every visit, the hot tub, the seaweed baths, ice baths, but the best amenity is the ocean with the fabulous beach and all on the door step. The best thing about The Connemara Sands is the staff. Dean, Kathy and all the family and staff make this hotel one of the best experiences ever. Shannon deserves her own mention for always smiling and laughing with us and never showing us that she is put out by our “enthusiasm”, she just joins in with us and has the craic. This was not our first time at the hotel and definitely won’t be our last time.
