We apologize for any inconvenience caused by the trout flies on the deck at night; these little insects do not bite and are a food source for our trout, but we do know they can be a pest to humans!. It's lovely to hear that you enjoyed watching the incredible sunrises from your deck and interacting with the farm animals on our fenced property. We're thrilled that you had an excellent dining experience at our on-site restaurant and that you found our breakfast offerings to be great with wonderful service and views. We sincerely regret that the accommodations provided did not meet your expectations, especially regarding the lake view lodge. However, due to the nature of the lodge being a family home, each room, whilst they are consistent in the amenities they offer, are individually themed to provide uniqueness and not a cookie cutter approach of modern hotel builds. We sincerely apologize for any miscommunication or oversight regarding this enjoyable experience. Our animals are indeed a highlight for many of our guests, and we take pride in offering opportunities for interaction with them. We regret if you missed the communication about the availability of carrots for feeding the donkeys, sheep, and horses. Typically, information about this activity is provided during the property tour upon your arrival and reiterated during breakfast the following morning. We understand that the delivery of numerous details during your arrival may sometimes result in certain information being missed. We apologize for any disappointment it may have brought to your overall experience. We also appreciate your feedback about the condition of our property. As a private home with a rich history and unique family heritage, we understand that our decor and atmosphere may not appeal to everyone. However, we aim to provide a warm and welcoming environment for all our guests to enjoy. Upon reviewing our records, we couldn't locate details of your stay in February.
