洛奇花園汽車旅館(Rocky Gardens Motor Inn Rockhampton)

Decided to drive to Townsville to visit family and usually I would have driven from Brisbane straight through, but once I hit Rocky I wanted to rest. Rocky Gardens was the first place I saw entering town so I stopped there. Walked in, asked if there were any available rooms, and after 5 minutes I was headed for my room. The staff were great, especially when it came time for a feed. I was told that “room service would be sent to my room, just call the restaurant and place an order”. Within 15 minutes the food arrived and was great. The room itself was great, no problem at all. The staff were friendly and very helpful. I would definitely recommend staying here and if you plan to eat, give the Homemade Rissoles a go, and the Apple Pie/tart with cream and ice cream. I’ve only been up north once and that was with the Army, but I’ve now got family up there, so I dare say I’ll be heading up more often and Rocky Gardens will be a mandatory stop for me.

Everything you need for our overnight stay but I’d have no hesitation in staying longer. Good size, clean and modern room. Excellent home made room service dinner. Good TV, we watched the Matilda’s World Cup playoff. We will definitely stay here again Highly recommended

I liked the layout of the room. The beds were comfortable, clean and in good condition. Hot water and water pressure was really good. We checked in late and was no problem at all. Friendly service. Finding the property was easy and although was on a main road, the noise from the traffic was not distracting. Clean and tidy around the facility. I would definately stay again.

Great service, rooms are clean and exceptional. Large fridge and television = Wow!. Great food, owners/managers bent over backwards. Great place to stay! Location is great, not far from most conveniences. L Steger

Calm and quiet place to get a great nights sleep. Friendly and helpful staff on site and a hot breakfast available in the morning.

It’s very relaxing and great staff

We have stayed twice, and both times have been more than pleased. The rooms are nice and modern, comfortable beds and chairs and most importantly are super dooper clean. Well stocked kitchenettes, so you can self - cater if you wish. Real milk supplied for your cuppas, undercover parking with easy access to ground floor rooms. First stay we ordered our dinner via room service was plentiful and yummy. This stay we went to the Fern Restaurant, again very clean and well presented, we had a delicious dinner served by the bubbly, friendly Hailey. If only all our motel stays could be like this! Five ***** from us!

We stayed in an Executive Twin room. Excellent room. It felt like a modern and brand new 4 star hotel inside. Very quiet air conditioner too which helped with a good night sleep. Large microwave and very large fridge and freezer in the room. We stayed in the normal motel room on way up and the executive room is a lot better so worth the $14 upgrade. Extremely comfortable bed. A great stay for a stopover and value for the money.

Most enjoyable stay
