摩奧希爾頓逸林飯店(DoubleTree by Hilton Mahwah)

Great location on the NJ/NY border. 30 minutes to the Catskills and West Point. Cookies were great and the gym was adequate. Skip the restaurant and bar attached to the hotel.

Thankfully, we were only here for 1 night; just a place to lay our heads. Anything longer and we would've had to find somewhere else. The staff was helpful but the hotel is clearly neglected. I don't need to list everything. Hotel management certainly knows the property needs work and any guest thqt stays here will too.

Wish the front desk would answer my husband left a new lightweight jacket and shirt. Try to retrieve WOW. The mattress on the bed I ended being in a hole. I’m not 180lbs Seeing my chiropractor this week.

We were told in the booking that there was complimentary breakfast. They tried to charge us 36 plus tip for a cold buffet. Will be contacting their corporate offices about this discrepancy. Also the night front desk (male no tag and wouldnt tell ne his name) was rude and hostile , would not give me any service. Was too busy playing video games on the front desk computer. Never staying in any hilton hotel ever again.

A Nigh**are at Double Tree by Hilton Hotel Mahwah in New Jersey: Rude Staff and Manager, Premature Eviction and Demanding a Refund I am writing to express my u**ost disappoin**ent and frustration with my recent stay at Double Tree by Hilton Hotel Mahwah in New Jersey. The series of unfortunate events, including encounters with a rude front desk agent named Samantha, an unhelpful manager named Howard, and an unwarranted eviction of my family from our room on the final night of our stay, has left me and my family deeply dissatisfied and demanding a full refund. Their behavior was inexcusable and fell far below the standard of service that I, as a Hilton Honors Diamond member and as a paying guest, should have received.

The hotel is not up to Hilton Standards. It looks like a renovated hotel taken over from a cheap chain. The bathroom does not have an exhaust fan. The rooms have no noise barrier. I could not sleep all night because of the high traffic on the highway in front. It felt like the trucks are slamming through the middle of the room. The AC is a wall unit that turns on and off and makes huge noise. Overall no sleep, tired and not a good place for me.

When we arrived, even though we are Hilton Honors members, they wouldn't allow me to get credit for the stay. There was no cleaning service because they were short staffed - they put a note under our door about that. Our TV didn't work so the front desk clerk came up to see if he could fix it but he had no idea what to do to remedy the situation. When we tried to check out, nobody was at the front desk for over 10 minutes so we just dropped the key and left.
