Three days before we were due to check in, my mother had a stroke and we needed to immediately return home. The borders were also due to close in our home state due to COVID so we were left with no option but to forfeit our holiday around Tasmania. The owner/host of this accommodation did not offer a refund and instead offered a credit. We have emailed and asked to use the credit but received no response. This is a really disappointing experience and we would not recommend this accommodation based on the owner/host’s lack of compassion and flexibility in these uncertain times.
