We booked 2 rooms this hotel via our agency. When we arrived, it was discovered that one of our rooms was booked with incorrect dates. The receptionist who was in contact with the head managers assure that there is no room available, all is fully booked. We contacted our agency and surprisingly, they were able to book a room in the hotel online. Thanks to then we got a place to stay with all our family. As soon as the hotel managers see that we got a room, they offered us to cancel the online booking and to book it with them (although 5 min before they had no available room). Then we overpay to the hotel, they sold to us a sea view room, although our first booking was a sea front as you can see from the vouchers. Why do I attached the vouchers, because when we tell this to the hotel manager, she pretend to do not understand what we talk about. Perhaps she got problems with memory so we remind her all of this, and even she is forgetting to return the sum according to the contract. BUT THIS IS NOT THE END OF THE STORY: we have learned from our agency that the manager, who do not understand what we talk about, did not agree to return even the part of the sum paid for the wrong booking which is called no show. They did not inform the agency about no show and normal hotels are fully understanding such situations, and do not charge for such mistakes. However, at list they should have returned the sum according to the contract notes in the voucher, 22% of the paid sum, which is about 500 Euros. So, CORRUPTION in the HEART OF THE BEAUTIFUL RHODES CITY. THE CITY AND OUR STAY IS SPOILED BY SUCH MONEY SEEKERS. AND they are treating the hotel staff with the same philosophy: to get the last cent from the pocket of the guest. As you see, the hotel is loosing its rating day by day, so the new management is making from the MEDITERRANEAN HOTEL a MEDITERRANEAN HELL.

Αρχικά, το ξενοδοχείο ανήκει σε κατηγορία 4 αστέρων, πράγμα το οποίο δε συνάδει με την συνολική του εικόνα. Η καθαριότητα ήταν κακή αρχίζοντας πρώτα πρώτα από τα στρώματα τα οποία ήταν κίτρινα. Αν και προϊόν γνωστής ποιοτικής μάρκας, οι λεκέδες τόσο στο στρώμα όσο και στο κρεβάτι υποδεικνύουν την ποιότητα και την ηλικία τους. Επίσης, στη ”σουίτα” στην οποία μας είχαν βάλει, υπήρχε προφυλακτικό όπως και άλλα σκουπίδια στην βεράντα, η οποία ήταν ένα με την ταράτσα. Ακόμη, η τζαμαρία του υπνοδωματίου ήταν ραγισμένη και δεν έκλεινε ούτε κλείδωνε. Το είχαμε αναφέρει από την πρώτη μέρα και έστειλαν τεχνικό αλλά δεν μπορούσε να κάνει κάτι. Μας ενημέρωσαν πως δε μπορούσε να φτιαχτεί. Ανεπίτρεπτο κι αυτό. Συνεχίζοντας με το δωμάτιο, τα είδη υγιεινής （μπατονέτες, σαμπουάν, παντόφλες κτλπ. ） που συνήθως προσφέρονται απουσίαζαν, και η υπηρεσία καθαριότητας ερχόταν κάθε 3 ημέρες. Συνεχίζω με το πρωινό, το οποίο αποτελείτο από τηγανιτό χαμ, τηγανίτες πατάτες, φασόλια και λουκάνικα κονσέρβας, λιγο τυρί και σαλάμι. Γενικώς, όλα ανθυγιεινά. Εύκολα το μπουφέ μπορεί να γίνει πιο υγιεινό και να απευθύνεται σε πολλούς. Καταληκτικά, δεν προτείνουμε διαμονή σε ένα τέτοιο ξενοδοχείο.

Just returned from the most fantastic holiday at Mitsis Petit Palais. You will never forget your holiday in Rhodes! The staff are incredible, so welcoming, friendly and cannot do enough for you. Our special thanks go to Alex 2 *****es who welcomed us at the bar the night we arrived, looked after us all week and went the extra mile to ensure that we had a good time. He is so efficient at the bar, always smiling and getting everyone singing and in the holiday mood. Try and get Alex to sing for you Life is Life! Fantastic job Alex, you should be promoted to Colonel. Thank you also to Dimmi, the best Lifeguard, Alex number 2 who served us at the bar, the reception staff who are all lovely and helpful, Luigi on the night reception who it was a pleasure to meet. The food at the hotel is excellent, we loved all the choices and had 3 courses most mealtimes, starting with a nice soup, an array of main courses and delicious dessert/ice cream. We always received a warm welcome on arrival to the restaurant by Zara and Daniel, the chefs are fantastic and all the waiters very friendly and efficient. We really liked the pizzas freshly cooked and the Greek salad with feta cheese. Our bedroom and bathroom were very nice and cleaned daily by the hardworking housekeepers. It was great having the mini bar replenished with drinks and bottles of cold water. Our balcony was also nice with a good view of the sea. Location location location! This hotel has the most perfect location for the beach, harbour, shops, Old Town and the Acropolis. We also walked to the Cave of Archangel Michael. Everything is within walking distance, there is also a hop on hop off bus if you prefer. Absolutely amazing holiday and we cannot thank Alex 2 *****es enough for being fantastic. Missing you all so much already, cannot wait to return again soon.

Ότι χρειάζεται για επισκέπτες που αποφεύγουν το συνωστισμό των μεγάλων ξενοδοχείων. Εξαιρετική σχέση ποιότητας τιμής. Ειλικρινά δεν περίμενα να βρώ τόσο φροντισμένο ξενοδοχείο. Μεγάλο άνετο στρώμα. Ποιοτικό μπουφέ στο πρόγευμα με φρέσκα υλικά. Πολύ βολική τοποθεσία. Και πάνω από όλα μείναμε με την ευγένεια και προθυμία του προσωπικού και των ιδιοκτητών. Με την πρώτη ευκσιρία θα το ξαναεπισκεφτούμε.

I have given this hotel a low star rating based on the lack of air conditioning, not based on the staff, food or other facilities. Please be aware there is no air conditioning inside the hotel except for the bedrooms. There is a heat wave at present which makes the situation even more intolerable. There is a glass roof in the bar/ lounge area which effectively turns the place into a furnace. The reception area is stiffling hot which means there is no comfortable sitting/relaxation area. The beautiful restaurants have no air conditioning which makes the dining experience unbearable in 35 degree heat. Similarly the breakfast room is like an oven with the additional heat coming from the hot food area. I really do not know how staff can work in these conditions. The temperature inside the bar was 34 degrees yesterday. Surely the owners and management can feel this?. I have been to similar four star hotels in the area and all have air conditioning in the lobby and public areas. Could fans or air conditioning units be purchased. ? The bar and lounge are empty at night due to this issue . In relation to the food it is excellent and reasonably prices. All staff are polite and hard working. Special recognition goes to Andreas in the Mexian restaurant who provides exceptional service. We had several meals (sitting outside) and the food was excellent. Similarly the food at the snack kiosk and grill restaurant was excellent. In relation to the rooms the beds are comfortable and there is good air conditioning. The bath rooms are in need of urgent renovation , deep cleaning and updating. The rooms are cleaned each day and fresh towels provided. The pool area is the selling point for this hotel. It is set in tropical gardens and is very beautiful. There is a severe shortage of sun loungers and quite a few rules regarding where you are permitted to sit whilst eating, but generally a pleasant area. Wifi is provided free of charge, but can be unpredictable in terms of strength of signal. Overall this Hotel is good but could be much better with air conditioning and upgraded bathrooms. The staff are an asset to the hotel and work hard to provide excellent customer service. So management please consider providing essential air conditioning for the comfort of paying customers and your loyal staff.

Οι κοπέλες στην υποδοχή εξυπηρετικοτατες και ευγενεστατες,σε έκαναν να αισθάνεσαι σαν στο σπίτι σου από το πρώτο λεπτό! Το δωμάτιο 1006 άνετο και πεντακάθαρο και με κλιματισμό ,γιατί σε πολλά σχόλια διάβασαμε πως δεν ήταν επαρκείς ο κλιματισμός και διαπίστωσαμε πως δεν ισχύει κάτι τέτοιο,ήταν όπως πρέπει! Κλείσαμε all inclusive οπότε είχαμε τα γεύματα μας στον μπουφέ, τα οποία ήταν γευστικότατα και καλομαγειρεμενα με πλήθος επιλογών για να καλύπτει ακομη και τους πιο περίεργους επισκέπτες,διότι από ότι καταλάβαμε από τις κριτικές που έχουν κάνει όσο αφορά τον μπουφέ υπάρχουν πολλοί περίεργοι και το έχουν αδικήσει με τις κριτικές τους όσο αφορά το φαγητό,αξίζει να το δοκιμάσετε και εσείς και να διαπιστώσετε πως δεν ισχύουν τέτοια σχόλια, το φαγητό είναι πεντανοστιμο και πλούσιο σε επιλογές! Η εξυπηρέτηση στον μπουφέ από όλους τους ανθρώπους εκεί άψογη ,όλα στην εντέλεια! Ο μάγειρας είναι εκεί να σε εξυπηρετήσει να σε βοηθήσει και να καλύψει κάθε σου απορία όσο αφορά το φαγητό, ευγενεστατος και φιλικός απέναντι στον κόσμο! Σε κάποια γεύματα ετοιμάζει εκείνη την στιγμή μπροστά σου κάποιες επιλογές γεύματος οι οποίες σίγουρα αξίζουν να τις δοκιμάσετε, κάτι το οποίο δε συναντάς συχνα να κάνουν σε μπουφε μικρών ξενοδοχείων.
