Great value with friendly service Shame Wi-Fi was not working

Upon arrival the receptionist was very polite and professional. However when walking in to the room it was clear the room was dirty and hadn’t been cleaned the bin was full of rubbish, the floor had confetti all over it, the bed had not been made or changed from the previous guest, there were dirty towels still in the bathroom from the previous guests, along with used glasses from the bar. I brought this to the receptionist and the only response I got was if you want to change room you can but it’s the other side of the hotel. Well, whoever is the cleaner or manager of this establishment either need a refresh on customer service, or totally need more training as I would be highly disappointed and ashamed if I was either one of of those people. Most certainly is not the way to run a hotel and it’s safe to say I will never stay here again. Didn’t even get an apology very disappointed.

Lovely hotel surroundings, friendly staff, clean and comfortable accommodation. Food in the restaurant however very basic and tasteless. Shame.

No nonsense accommodation….clean , nice room and facilities. Good parking and easy check in and check out.

Very pleasant for the most part… arrived relatively late evening… introduced to the environment and plans for breakfast… No yogarts with breakfast! Missing from the bags…. Relaxing environment… had a a nice hot bath… TV cut out at 12! 😊 Had breakfast in the restaurant on Boxing Day and all good… All told was very nice … the above are small things that did not take away from the experience….

It’s not so good as I expected compared to one of Marston inn (SpringRiver in Kent). I wasn’t comfortable i must say, the room is not fresh. I had to spray my perfume on the beddings yet my body itched which happens when beddings not completely changed. The bathroom extactor fan was half broken rusty

The staff can't done enough for stay for two night fab stay will stay there again

Stayed here several times now and intend returning again. Staff always keen to please and food excellent. Good facilities although car park lighting was out of action when I departed early so extra care required this time.
