La comida estaba bien. La mayoría de meseros son buena gente y más si agradeces su servicio con algo de propinas de vez en cuando. La habitación es amplia. No nos gustó que el sanitario y ducha no tuvieran puerta, son abiertos y puede volverse incómodo. Instalaciones y jardines en perfecto estado y limpios. Área de piscina y playa amplios y bien cuidados

Nice hotel, with a lot of restaurants. Staff has sometimes a bit an attitude. But overall a nice holiday

This trip was amazing. The resort was beautiful and easy to navigate. The rooms are quite large and the location is isolated and quiet. The beach is beautiful, the food was delicious, the drinks were wonderful. The staff were all really friendly and the service was generally great. There are a lot of vegan and vegetarian options which was great! All the events were really enjoyable and overall it was a really relaxing and memorable vacation! Shout out to the activities director Miki for making our stay extra special!

Top accomodation and very clean place. All things and amenities are present.

Sehr schöne Anlage. Viele Palmen und große Schirme am Strand. Große Restaurantauswahl mit gutem Essen. Es lohnt sich definitiv addults only zu buchen. Insgesamt sind die Zimmer etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Wenn man darüber hinwegsieht und eher Wert auf die Anlage und das Essen legt ist man hier sehr gut aufgehoben

This was my wife and I’s 6th trip to the Dominican. We’ve only stayed at adult only resorts. We chose Catalonia for the price and we’re not disappointed. We would do a revisit. The room cleaner service was very good. Carlito and Ashley at the pool bar were awesome. They were personable and prompt with service and made our pool time very relaxing. We had a swim out pool room and the pool was very clean and refreshing. The main pool needs some scrubbing to remove the algae layer. They could easily do this over night and make it more presentable. There was also a lot of missing tiles in the pool. This did not take away from a great vacation. We expected a few of these discrepancies with the price of the resort. The food was very good at all the restaurants and room service was prompt and the food warm. Kudos Catalonia! We will be back.

The property is beautiful but need some upgrades in the main pool and bedrooms decoration. Some employees are excellent and very customer oriented. The restaurants are good and the entertainment is good too. Very quiet, boutique style hotel, excellent option for adults that want a peaceful place for relax, with all inclusive options.

The room took a long time to get hot water from the faucets The mattress was very uncomfortable but they changed it out after the first night to a much better one. The facility as a whole is very nice and would return and recommend to friends and family. was a little disappointed in the sales pitch to join the EF club because after 2.5 hours of being offered this membership and told we would get complimentary massages and a bottle of wine for the taking the time to listen to the sales pitch. Only one massage coupon was given where 2 should have been given for me and my companion. To redeem it they needed 2 of the ticket vouchers.

I recently stayed at the Catalonia Royal Bavaro, an adults-only all-inclusive resort in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. I had a wonderful experience, and I would highly recommend this resort to anyone looking for a relaxing and luxurious vacation. The resort is located on a beautiful stretch of beach, and the staff is incredibly friendly and attentive. Gernando at the beach was always happy to help me find a comfortable spot to relax, and he even brought me a cold towel on a hot day. Flor at the piano bar was always attentive. The food at the Thalassa restaurant was delicious, and the waitstaff was always accommodating. Enrique, Marisol, Berenice, and Jairo were all excellent servers, and they went out of their way to make sure I had a great dining experience. Overall, I had a wonderful stay at the Catalonia Royal Bavaro. The resort is beautiful, the staff is friendly and attentive, and the food is delicious. I would definitely recommend this resort to anyone looking for a relaxing and luxurious vacation." Here are some specific details about my experience: The room was spacious and comfortable, with a balcony overlooking the grounds. The pool was large and clean, and there were plenty of lounge chairs to relax on. The beach was beautiful and uncrowded. The food was varied and delicious, with something to please everyone. The staff was friendly and attentive, always willing to go the extra mile to make sure I had a great stay.

Staff were amazing, super helpful and friendly. Check in went ok, although receptionist forgot to give us our towel cards needed to receive beach towels but was fixed next AM. Facilities were so beautiful. Groundskeepers were working hard to keep beautiful. Food: something for everyone at every meal, definitely do the a la carte restaurants. I’d say if there was a complaint about food not being good, then people are just not taking advantage of all they have available to them. So make the reservations, check out the buffet, there’s room service too. Housekeeping was quick everyday and had turn down services. Rooms themselves were absolutely beautiful. Only downside is the beach has a lot of vendors coming up, very persistent but it’s federal property so not much the hotel could do to prevent it. We had one excursion where they picked us up from our own beach so check out the excursion counter provided by the hotel. Pools: 2 pools both beautiful, one by the beach was less loud and crowded. Never had issue getting a lounge chair.

Meh! The property and vegetation/wild live are beautiful, but the front desk service and maintenance crew was nonexistent. Our room’s AC blew hot air the whole time we were there. Our room’s fridge was broken - all of our drinks were always hot. We went to the front desk every day to report and nothing got fixed. Seaweed was in full bloom since we stayed a week after the hurricane/storm, so only pool experience. The Restaurant, cleaning and coffee shop (grand bavaro side) employees were excellent. This was our first time in DR - not sure if we got an accurate idea of the country/Punta Cana as a whole, but we are not planning to come back. Don’t recommend it - you get more bank for your buck in Cancun.

Disfrutamos mucho los beneficios del área para adultos por la paz que había; todos los espectáculos y ruidos en la noche eran en el área familiar. Lo único que no funcionó en toda la estadía fue que la bañera estaba tapada y aunque lo notifiqué, nadie vino a arreglarla. Por otra parte en la misma bañera, había 4 goteras de líquido marrón justo en la entrada de la bañera, era constante, si no tenía cuidado de secarla antes de pasar, me podía ensuciar. We really enjoyed the benefits of the adult area because of the peace there was; all the shows and noises at night were in the family area. The only thing that didn't work during the whole stay was that the bathtub was clogged and even though I notified it, no one came to fix it. On the other hand, in the same bathtub, there were 4 leaks of brown liquid right at the entrance of the bathtub, it was constant, if I was not careful to dry it before going in, I could get dirty.

Está muy bonito y los empleados son chulisimos. Si que al ser de adultos la piscina, los shows acaban muy temprano, y no hay lugar de ir a comer tarde. Deben ampliar ese horario nocturno. Pero está precioso y son todos chulos y la comida rica

Sehr schöne Hotelanlage mit mehreren Pools, schönem Strand. mehrere Restaurants, gutes Essen. Zimmer schön gross.
