Bad experiences during our family vacations in Ziva My wife got food poisoned eating in the restaurant called Tempest. The personal that cook the food clearly is not aware about how to avoid cross contamination while preparing the meals. Just keep an eye on how the handle the food in front of you and you will realize that I'm talking about. Once that my wife had symptoms of food poisoning, the on-premises doctor wanted to take my wife to a "nearby clinic" given that she needed IV rehydration and IV antibiotics, also she was going to be translated to the clinic using an ambulance. We call our physician at home and they recommended a different path to follow that only require over the counter meds and drink plenty of fluids. She was feeling better in 24hrs following his advise. Clearly the people of the on-premises doctor office were looking for a way to make more money. Overall, the quality of the food is average or even lower. Per example, on the buffet restaurant called "El mercado" there was a day on which they served Mexican food, but it was so bad that made me repent to not going to other option that night. On the positive side, I should say that the people in charge of the bakery is good (regardless of the restaurant). On top of that, we left some clothes unattended for around 45 mins in the chairs nearby the infinity pool; and when we came back they "disappear", it made me feel uncomfortable to take anything else with me outside of the room besides the room key.

Algo que vi que no me pareció correcto fue que en unos de los cuartos de swim up dejaron afuera en una mesita de la piscina una botella de whiskey de un día para otro si esa botella se cae por la brisa afectaría la estadía de los otros huéspedes por irresponsabilidad de otros creo que eso hay que ponerle mas atención

Disfrutamos el fin de semana en familia no hubo un momento desperdiciado, todo estuvo muy bien, el personal es muy agradable. Recomiendo ajustes en el piso de la ducha ya que da un aspecto descuidado pero entiendo es el material y en el parque de agua. Todo estuvo espectacular excelente servicio.

Me encanta el trato de los empleados, son bien disciplinados, NO LES PERMITEN CONSUMIR ALCOHOL (Bebidas) eso hace una gran diferencia sobre los demás hoteles. La limpieza tiene 10/10. En este hotel se preocupan por sus huéspedes, son bien complacientes. Volveré pronto.

Last year I used to like the staff. Now there’s a different vibe. This was not what I expected this time from I resort I loved so much. Food is great! The employees are so much different from a year before. I service now is like any other resort. I will not go a 3rd time. Hyatt Ziva Cap Cana you were good while you lasted, but not anymore.

Hotel was beautiful and the pool is huge. The kids also enjoyed the water park for a little bit but our 5 year old could only go on one slide so we didn’t stay too long. It’s still a great feature for families and there is a small kid section for little ones. What I didn’t like was the beach. It was full of sea**** and we didn’t get to enjoy it. We ended up taking a taxi to a public beach and it was beautiful. I also didn’t like that some of the restaurants were on the zilara side which is adult only. I have 2 kids so we couldn’t go to any of those to eat. They did however offer carry out that we pick up and eat in our room which we did.

La propiedad es enorme y hermosa. Los empleados la mantienen al día y siempre tratan a uno de forma cordial y respetuosa. Este hotel es perfecto para vacacionar y para compartir en familia.

No existe ninguna queja, todo lo contrario el hotel es hermoso, las facilidades extraordinarias, la cómoda y bebida de excelencia pero sobre todo y lo más importante para nosotros el buen trato y la cordialidad y amabilidad de los empleados. Un servicio de excelencia. No hubo ningún empleado que no te mostrara amabilidad y todo de manera genuina. Amo este hotel y de verdad que supera siempre nuestras expectativas.
