Lava House is a little oasis within Puerto Ayora. The room was very clean, with soap, shampoo and conditioner provided in the bathroom. Lava House provides a very relaxed environment, where I felt I could unwind after adventuring around during the day. The breakfast service was particularly impressive and offered so much variety! The perfect start for a day of diving. And Lava was so cute!

Le Lava House réveillera toujours la nostalgie qui sommeille en moi. C’est un très bel établissement à deux pas du port, très facilement accessible et avec un personnel extrêmement hospitalier. L’on y fait tout pour vous simplifier la vie et vous rendre service, à commencer par la mise à disposition d’une fontaine à eau, la possibilité d’entreposer vos valises de manière sécurisée et de faire laver votre linge pour une modique somme. Nous avons adoré notre séjour sur place, avec plein de bons conseils de nos hôtes tout au long de notre séjour. La literie, les petits-déjeuners, le nettoyage quotidien des chambres, tout y est soigné. Le wifi fonctionne parfaitement. Du shampooing et de gel douche sont fournis. Vous pouvez vous y rendre les yeux fermés.

Es un hotel fabuloso, el personal es de 10, el desayuno impresionante, y mas habitaciones y todo es precioso, cuidado y con mimo, nos ha súper encantado!

Ich durfte sieben Tage im Lava House Hostal übernachten und hatte eine rundum angenehme Zeit. Bereits bei meiner Ankunft wurde ich herzlich empfangen. Man erklärte mir alles Wichtige für einen angenehmen Aufenthalt und zeigte mir die Einrichtungen des Hostals. Mein Zimmer war einfach, aber sehr sauber und mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht. Das Bett war äußerst bequem, und auch das Badezimmer ließ keine Wünsche offen. Das Frühstück war ein echtes Highlight: Es gab frischen Saft, Kaffee, Obst, Haferflocken, Joghurt, Eier, Brot, Schinken und Käse – eine vielfältige Auswahl, die satt macht und gut schmeckt. Auf meine Fragen zu lokalen Restaurants wurde mir ein authentisches Lokal empfohlen, das nicht nur köstlich war, sondern auch durch ein hervorragendes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis überzeugte. Alles ist in wenigen Gehminuten erreichbar. Insgesamt war mein Aufenthalt sehr angenehm. Die Besitzerin sowie das gesamte Team sind unglaublich herzlich und hilfsbereit – man fühlt sich sofort willkommen. Ich kann das Lava House Hostal nur weiterempfehlen und würde jederzeit wiederkommen!

This charming hotel is a nice little oasis in Santa Cruz. The owner Isabella was absolutely lovely and made us all feel like we were at home. The rooms were comfortable and clean with AC and hot water. Breakfast in the morning was delicious. It was a perfect place to recoup from the heat after excursions and time in the city. The sweet resident dog Lava was by far the highlight for my kids during our stay.

Amazing place. Really clean and quiet. I loved everything, including the puppy that lives there! Would definitely come back. The main avenue was really close to Lava House, so you can come and go as you please and it just takes a couple minutes to reach the main bay. Overall I had a great experience with this place.

This is a clean, basic hotel relatively close walking distance to the Main Street where there are numerous shops and restaurants. Breakfast is included and made for you (not buffet) but again, is very basic. The hotel grounds are very nice and staff is very accommodating.
