The rooms are just as they look in the pictures and are very well kept, clean and comfortable. All the amenities are perfect and the staff couldn’t be more hospitable and helpful. They helped us plan our adventures and book stuff in with reputable guides. They helped us arrange transport and extra nights at the hotel. It was a pleasure staying here and we hope to be back

Absolutely excellent place. Huge spacious room. The bed was huge - you could starfish and still not reach your partner. Very clean and neat. Lovely court yard to sit around and enjoy the weather. Nice continental breakfast. Very very affordable and much exceeded our expectations especially considering the price. Wifi is ok - it is poor all over Galapagos but enough to check emails and send some pics. You shouldn't be working while on holidays anyway :) The lady that was looking after us was amazing. Very accommodating and helpful and kind. Excellent service. Location is great. 5 min easy walk to the main street of the town, about 40min to the famous Tortuga beach. If we could come again to Galapagos we would stay here for sure.

I booked this hotel on ******* and found it very over-priced. I paid £116 per night for a "superior" room. Booked direct, this hotel costs $65-$70 a night, at which price it is good value. It's a small hotel in a residential area 10-15 minutes walk from the port, with a very small, helpful staff. The office is closed during the day, but guests have a key to the gate.

Beautiful hotel just 10-15 minutes away from the port and all the shopping and restaurants. The room was very clean and the staff was very attentive. We got complimentary water and coffee in the lobby. The rooms are quiet, have air conditioning and the staff speak English.

Staff was amazing. Very helpful and wanted to make sure your needs were met. Always hot showers and good working air conditioning. Appreciated the water in the lobby to refill bottles and they even put a jug in each room too. Location was a bit outside the central area but we always walked it, even in dark and it was safe. It was only like a 10 - 15 minute walk. We took a cab from the ferry with our luggage and it was only $2. They booked us a cab to go to the airport ferry for us. Very prompt in responding to emails and I had a lot of questions so very patient too!

Very well maintained small and quiet hotel. Super friendly and easily accessible staff.

Close to downtown, safe, nice. Best thing is breakfast, Tonia makes it and it's very delicious

The hotel is in a nice quiet residential neighborhood, yet very walkable to restaurants and shops. The wifi was fast and dependable. The bed was very comfortable. Air conditioning worked well which was welcome each day after a day out. We chose not to spend the additional $8 a day for breakfast. The room was very clean! The staff was friendly and helpful. The only thing lacking was guidance on places worth visiting while on the island of Santa Cruz, although a recommendation was made by Julio for a travel agent we could contact. Overall, Hotel Palace is a great place to stay.

Lovely room with air con. Staff really helpful. Safe to walk about even at night. In easy walking distance to the town.
