This place is terrible. It is located right next to the hospital and has many vagrants lying around outside and we were greeted by a bunch of people clearly intoxicated. They were lying all over the ground with open bottles of alcohol, it appeared some of them live at this place. We spoke with the managers via the phone (they weren't on site) and there were not helpful at all. I do not recommend staying here.

This is a little gem, not your run of the mill hotel accommodation, the management really went above and beyond to make sure we were accommodated. It’s by no means your upmarket hotel style accommodation, but it’s clean, quiet and close to town. Full kitchen, great size bedrooms and did I mention the complimentary snacks.. Will definitely be staying here when we are in Cairns next. Thank you

Loved our stay! Apartment was very clean and had everything we needed, but it was Royce, the host, who really got out of his way to make our stay comfortable and memorable. He left some treats for the kids, gave us good tips while staying there and helped us with the luggage when we arrived and when we left. Those small but very much appreciated details that are quite hard to find these days, thanks so much! We definitely recommend these apartments for anyone and specially families ☺️

We stayed in these apartments for two weeks while our family member was in Cairns Base hospital. The staff were super caring and accommodating and did everything possible to make our stay as comfortable and easy as possible. They went out of their way to help us and I am super grateful for everything they did for us during this time.

Perfect accommodation for our stay in Cairns! Royce went above and beyond for us, supplying blankets and extra towels when necessary. Clean, comfortable apartment in a great location. Would definitely recommend!

The Manager gave a warm welcome and shared knowledge of the area and restaurants. The apartment was comfortable and had everything we needed. It is a short drive into town and close to some activities and lovely waterfront.

What a wonderful place to stay! From the moment we were greeted by the lovely coupe at reception they were more than helpful with our stay! We booked 4 night but need longer and they were more then accommodating with us, the cleaners were wonderful and helped with everything I needed (and I needed quite abit) the place was clean and everyone staying in the building was nice. Safety of my family is number 1 and with the lovely help from Royce and Jenny I was made aware of the dos and don’t while on my stay here in cairns we had a hire car in the car park the was also safe during this time! I wouldn’t recommend anywhere else honestly

I had a great experience staying at the Reef Gateway Apartments at 239 Lake St. Cairns North. We had some friends coming to stay and thought it would be nice to stay somewhere a bit roomier than our apartment so we gotbonline and booked a 2 bedroom apartment, it was fantastic from the time we got there to the time we left we had such a good time. The staff were fantastic. The lady and gentleman in the office were so helpful and easy to deal with. The cleanliness of the apartment was amazing thanks to the awesome cleaning ladies, and the pool and BBQ area were fantastic. Besides the apartments being so good the location is perfect we were out of the busy part of town but we were close to the hospital, muddies for the kids, they loved it. There are a lot of choices of restaurants or takeaway if you don't feel like cooking, but in saying that, the well stocked kitchen was so good to do some home cooking as well. We can all say we really enjoyed our time with our friends and highly recommend Reef Gateway Apartments to anyone needing a great place to stay in Cairns.

Was amazing! The staff were kind and helpful and the cleaners were amazing the pool area was great for bbqs and afternoon hang outs ! I wouldn’t stay anywhere else

Stayed for 4 nights. Lovely clean 2 bed apartment. Had everything we needed. Royce was extremely helpful. We needed help with the WiFi and washing machine. Nothing too much trouble for him or any of the staff. He recommended a gorgeous Indian restaurant nearby. Lovely pool and seating area. It's a bit of a walk from the centre of Cairns ( about 20 mins). But is an enjoyable walk along the promenade

Two bedroom apartment is air conditioned, clean and comfortable - white bed sheets, plenty of pillows and bath towels. Laundry facilities and generous kitchen area in the apartment, with a large fridge. Wi-Fi and latest technology for streaming to the TV plus in-room amenities make for a pleasant stay. Short walk to Cairns central cafes for coffee or breakfast, many restaurants and pubs for lunch and dinner are close by. Arrange a day trip to enjoy the many family friendly attractions around Cairns. Walk or ride along the foreshore Esplanade to the lagoon and marina. Across the road to medical and health facilities.

My family and I arrived very late at night and not having booked due to change of location forced by a medical issue. Royce was extremely accommodating. Nothing was too much trouble and he even supplied us with food items to tide us over for the night. Comfortable apartment and great service. Thank you.
