奧格爾斯比貝斯特韋斯特飯店(Best Western Oglesby Inn)

We were traveling late and decided we needed to stop for the night. It was convenient and easy to get to from the interstate. The parking lot was well lit. The room was not great which is I guess is what to expect. There was hair in the bathroom. The water never got hot, it was luke warm at best. When I pulled back the comforter there was a long hair on the sheets. I decided not to look at anything else and get the sleep we needed. The breakfast was available when we got up early in the morning but it was basically cereal or toast, it was better than nothing.

Honestly not sure why or how this is even a best western I stay at lots of best western hotels and this is by far the worst at best it’s comparable to an americinn or days inn breakfast was garbage coffee was ice cold old and stale the pool area well the light was dangling outside of the pool the hot tub was not hot and not jetted as advertised it was missing all jets just huge holes in the walls of of that bubbled air out not comfortable or relaxing in a mildly above warm atmosphere the rooms were old and e trembly out dated this isn’t uncommon for a best western however the tv didn’t work the refrigerator wouldn’t get cold the room it’s self had a bit of an odor and the rooms wasn’t up to any sort of standard of cleanliness which is highly u usual for a best western I wouldn’t not stay there ever again and I hope this review makes u change your mind as well the Hampton inn is comparable in price for Oglesby stay there the best western should be avoided

Toilet had a ring inside of some sort that didn’t come off. The shower was low water pressure and made a loud screeching noise the entire time the water was running. Loud barking dogs in the hallways. Linens were dirty of stains. Staff is not friendly and definitely not customer service friendly. My son was told he couldn’t use a towel from a cart of towels after the pool area had none. Very dirty and outdated.

Our first impression was an ashtray. When I said something the desk person was rude. He said that he couldn’t tell people not to smoke. He said they smoke right outside the door, but the smell was stronger as we went further down the hall. I’m glad our room didn’t contain the stretch. After getting to our room and settling, we left for dinner and said have a good night to the guy. I wanted to exchange pleasantries since the first encounter was so negative. He completely ignored us. I am glad he wasn’t there in the morning. It really left a bad impression.

The hotel was ok but tired looking and bathroom was in rough shape—broken tile and a shower head that sprayed weakly in all directions. Light and sound came in through the door. The bed and pillows were fine and the room mini fridge was a good size. Breakfast was disappointing. Advertised as a hot breakfast but only hot item was a tray of scrambled eggs. Other breakfast items included make your own waffles, yogurt, cereal, bread, and pre made sausage and egg sandwiches that could be microwaved.

Stopped here during some poor road conditions for a sleep. Front desk quoted us more than what ******* was charging so we booked in their reception area. It’s clean, quiet, breakfast is ok. Our shower did not have much for water pressure at all.

Easy check-in, clean rooms and very nice staff. We were traveling so convient location not out of our way.

We had a grate time. Everything we needed was there. Front desk was fun and professional. Thanks so much!

There for River City Rampage. The hotel was quiet. Breakfast was good. Pool and hot tub kept granddaughter happy.
