藝術噴泉飯店(La Fontaine des Arts)

Walking though the door to La Fontaine des Arts we were greeted by our lovely Host Marie-France who showed us to our Luxury Room (Manon). The room was large, clean and tastefully decorated overlooking a beautiful swimming pool. We took a short walk into the village and ate a lovely plate of charcuterie in Chez Riffaud. Breakfast was delicious and we particularly enjoyed bacon and egg prepared by our host.

Have had three excellent stays here but the true value of the venue was revealed on this visit. Due to a misunderstanding our booking for six nights had gone missing. Marie-France did not hesitate she set about making sure the booking was honoured, even putting us in a spacious en-suite within their own accommodation on a night they were fully booked. The result was we had another perfect stay. Previous reviews say all you need to know about the 'Fontaine'. Thank you once again to Marie-France and her husband Jean.

Our hosts we so friendly and thoughtful. They made sure we had everything we needed and were very kind. The room was beautiful and clean. Breakfast was delicious, fruit, yoghurt, fresh pastries, home made preserves, and freshly cooked bacon and egg, great coffee. The swimming pool looked very inviting set in a courtyard, I would say the photos do not do it justice. As it was January we didn’t try it! It is a short walk into Mansle for the amenities of the town. There are a few restaurants and a supermarket. The bridge over the river Charente is stunning. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend it without hesitation
