巴爾莫勒爾飯店(The Hotel Balmoral - Adults Only)

Our first visit, fourteen years ago, made a really lasting, positive impression upon us. Unfortunately I became ill while there, and was unable to eat the wonderful food I was presented with. Without going into details about my illness, I just couldn’t eat very much at all. The staff were so caring, concerned about my well being, but also concerned that there might something more they could do to make my stay more comfortable, I felt I was important to them. That was remarkable. The whole experience was first class, I was just so disappointed that I couldn’t enjoy the wonderful food which was on offer. It’s taken a while for us to return, but my husband’s birthday was a good excuse. This time, I was able to fully enjoy the same care and excellent service, stunning food, warm and friendly ambience, and relaxing few days. Thank you to all at the hotel Balmoral. I look forward to our next visit. Keep up the excellent work and attention to detail !

What a beautiful hotel and such friendly staff! We went on a family weekend away age range from 20 to 80 this was the perfect location plenty close by and so beautiful to walk around. The food wow we’ve never eaten so much it was too nice to say no! By far the best Sunday Roast!! Well done you are one amazing chef!!! We would like to thank the amazing staff you are all so friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back! Should be a 4/5 star much better than a 3 rating!

This was our fourth visit to Balmoral Hotel and it was as amazing as the first time we went in 2017. The rooms are very clean and comfortable and the food is out of this world. It is a very friendly hotel and nothing is too much trouble. The information given on arrival is very helpful and there is always someone around if needed. The staff are all very friendly and professional. We WILL be back!

I read the reviews before choosing this hotel. All I can say is that they’re not wrong. My wife & I had a fantastic time there. We stayed for 4 nights & had a Premium Room with a garden view & limited sea view. Only limited by the trees. The food was excellent. We ate things that we wouldn’t normally choose. It was a pleasant change. Freshly cooked with a great choice. All the staff are very friendly & can’t do enough for you. My only “concern” was the walk up the hill from the harbour to the hotel. But we were well warned beforehand. We did it ‘once’.

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and the evening meals were excellent, plenty of choice and so tasty. We were made welcome from the moment we arrived and all our questions answered. The house is so comfortable, decor very attractive and plenty of comfortable chairs to relax in. Our only problem was the cold unseasonable weather which meant we couldn’t take advantage of the outside areas !

Thoroughly enjoyable stay although the weather was not great. The room was very clean and well maintained with a huge comfortable bed. We had opted for Dinner, bed and breakfast and the food was excellent throughout, with superb service and reasonably priced drinks in the bar.

Weekend package was very good value for money. Lovely clean hotel with beautiful terrace and garden. Food was excellent, drinks prices were very reasonable and staff couldn’t have been more friendly and helpful. Highly recommended and would definitely stay again.

A very friendly and comfortable reception from staff. Enjoyed the food and was looked after very well, in particular, by the new restaurant member. Looking forward to our next stay. A very nice quiet area and a enjoyable walk to the seafront.

Excellent value for money .The food was excellent , some of the best we have had .It was served in hot plates , a rarity in our experience , freshly cooked and well presented .Service was great too and nothing was too much trouble .Little touches like breakfast cooked to order ,pots of coffee not from a machine were much appreciated . We would not hesitate to recommend or to stay again .We booked a Cosy Double which was fine for a few nights but if staying longer would opt to pay extra for something a bit bigger .However it was well equipped, scrupulously clean and had a delightful view of the grounds and the sea in the distance .This is simply a personal preference . The hotel had a lovely atmosphere and we met people who had been returning year after year up to 20 years in one case .That speaks volumes ..the hotel is a gem .
