We loved this place so much, we extended our stay by two extra nights! Everything about it was amazing—the views, the staff, the sunrise, and the breakfast. We stayed in Jungle House 1 and had such a great experience. That said, you are staying in the jungle, so it’s important to set expectations. You may see insects around the property and even in your room. We had a few ants in the bathroom and near the kettle, so I’d recommend not leaving food out. There are also cicadas and roosters on-site, which can be loud in the mornings and evenings—but honestly, it made the experience feel even more immersive and unique. The pool and views are absolutely stunning, and it’s exclusive to guests staying on the property, which makes it feel peaceful and private. The rooms have both AC and a fan, which worked really well. Breakfast is included and delicious—it also adds great value to your stay. The property is located on a very steep hill, so walking into town isn’t realistic. We rented a scooter through a contact provided by the owner, which I highly recommend if you’re comfortable riding—it’s much more convenient than ordering rides constantly. The sunrise here was hands down my favorite part. It’s quiet, peaceful, and truly special—you can only experience it if you’re staying on the property since the restaurant doesn’t open until later. We didn’t have any issues with noise from other guests, which was something we had seen mentioned in other reviews. Our room also had a smart TV, and the shampoo, conditioner, and body wash provided were great—no need to bring your own. A special shoutout to Myo, who served us breakfast every day—he was incredibly kind and made our mornings even better. Construction is ongoing in some areas, but it didn’t impact our experience at all. Overall, this was by far our favorite stay in our three weeks of traveling. We absolutely loved it and will 100% be back. Highly recommend!
