奧特岩飯店(Inn at Otter Crest)

Otter Crest was an enjoyable place, the staff were very hospitable and were always willing to send a cart or someone to transport bags or new linens. For the price you pay and the location you can't beat it.

The area is beautiful. The beach was lovely. Fun to explore. The driver was very nice! The walls were so thin that we could hear every conversation next door as if we were in the same room. Kind of weird.

Stayed 2 nights for a staycation with a friend! The location is fantastic. Like a (huge) tucked away village. It's 15-20 min from Newport, off the highway through a couple back roads, and down a private driveway. It was sooo quiet and peaceful. There is a walking path to quickly access Devil’s Punchbowl (lookout point). There is also a separate beach & tide pool access path. The adults only hot tub was VERY hot and large! I hate when hot tubs are barely hot. The hot tub and pool are uncovered so you can see the stars in the evening. The beds were clean and firm. The patio was nice to watch the sunset over the ocean. I only saw room for improvement in a couple areas; the snack/drink options in the lobby were ok. The restaurant was closed so I had hoped for better snacks to purchase. Also the DVD rentals I think should be free, but still checked out to the room, and only charge the room if it’s not physically returned by the guest! Otherwise lovely place, I will definitely book here again.

Beautiful grounds and a lovely view. I didn't like you walked right into the bedroom and the living area was small and no TV in bedroom. You share a balcony with your neighbors so not very private. Refrigerator didn't work and the inside decor was dated and not very romantic. Would be a great casual weekend getaway but would not recommend for an anniversary.

Came here with my boyfriend for New Year’s Eve and we were immediately obsessed. The greenery was amazing and the overall environment was very welcoming and cozy. Our room was very cute, we had a forest view room with a king bed. It had everything we needed for a comfortable nights stay. wish we would’ve booked more days! The staff was very friendly as well and made us very comfortable. Walls are kind of thin so you can hear other people in their rooms but it wasn’t a big deal. One thing to note is that your fridge might be unplugged so if you bring food that needs to be refrigerated immediately, keep in mind that it may need time to get cold depending if it’s plugged in or not! Overall, our stay was very amazing and we highly recommend this place! We will be coming back for longer stays!

Website photos/description do not paint an accurate picture. Outlets don't work in the room. Ocean view rooms for some units share the balcony with neighboring unit - there is no privacy. Bedsheets/pillows had stains and smelt bad.

Awesome stay! Staff was accommodating and friendly! Room was better than expected!

This was our second thanksgiving we came here because of the location with the beautiful setting and trees; the ocean view is amazing! The unit we stayed in #119, a dump. Big stains on what looked like the 30 year old carpet were discussing; moulding coming off the tub and walls. Paint chipping. The neighbors, had a wonderful time with little children, because we could hear everything as if they were standing right next to us. It was really loud and pretty annoying. For what we paid. We did close the pocket doors which helped a little. I know we paid for the view, but we were really disappointed with this unit. Will not go back.
