Homewood Suites by Hilton Orlando - Nearest to Universal Studios

It was a nice, clean, spacious room but my daughter almost got electrocuting by an outlet on a lamp. Lamp got replaced but that was a very scary moment. Also, elevator broke down twice during stay and we had to use the stairs while carrying our carry-ons. Breakfast was delicious and convenient. Staff was wonderful.

We arrived very early and asked to be notified when our room was ready as we were camped out in front lobby. My husband just happen to see several other people checking in to ask yet again if the room was ready. I dont know if there was an early checkin fee but we werent offered. I am confident the hotel was not sold out to accommodate.

The suite was a resort feel. I fell in love with the kitchenette, it was fully equipped with strong sturdy pots, and all the utensils that I needed to make a meal as if I was home. The free breakfast was delicious, it wasn't just a bunch of and pastries. It was fulfilling. My all time favorite was the basketball court after a few games. We showered and hung out by the pool. Another added bonus I could see Universal from my window. This is my go to place when I visit Orlando. Hilton has me in a choke hold. I forgot to buy the body wash. Until next time Hilton.

This hotel is always a must stay for us when visiting Universal Orlando for overnight stays. Very quick drive to the resort which is very handy. The rooms are so very well equipped with a full kitchen and a separate bedroom. Plus add in free self parking and Wi-Fi and this hotel can’t be beat. Also pet friendly which is an added bonus and very clean.

I stayed here for one night , over all check in was friendly and staff . My room was very clean. ( Love the personal touch of swans with wash cloths and dish towels ).However , this is an older building here . I believe it could use an UPDATE . The hallways and room itself did smell musty water . I will not be back due to the funky smell and not so clean feeling there . The breakfast was okay , but cold . I would half to give this stay five out of ten stars

We have stay here for the second year in a row and I must say it does not disappoint. From the Complementary Breakfast which is very good to the ambiance at the pool and all the amenities you get at this hotel is totally worth it. Its closed by to Universal studios which if you want to uber is only a 10 min ride. The people are very professional, polite and friendly. Cant wait to come back next year and excited already to return given we was told they will be renovating the hotel. Thank you to all the staff for a great stay.

We loved the free breakfast in the morning. We had a shower run for 2 days. We reported this problem to the front desk, but they didn’t seem worried. It was not just a small leak. The faucet legit ran hot water for 48 hours! I had to keep the bathroom door shut so I didn’t hear it run all night.

Weekend family trip. We’re Universal pass holders and don’t live too far away so it’s usually just a day trip for us, but occasionally we like to make a weekend of it and this location is perfect for that. From hotel parking lot to Universal parking lanes was about 5 minutes. All the usual I-Drive suspects for food. The hotel itself was nice. Pool area was well maintained. The rooms were very clean. The bed was hard, but that’s a common issue for me. Breakfast was great and changed some from day to day. Staff interactions were satisfactory. Nothing jump off the page great but nothing bad. If you’re coming for Universal and want the separation of a bedroom and living area, this is a really great option.
