We had a wonderful time here. We stayed off season and the location and convenience were perfect. We enjoyed spending time in the lobby and wrap around porch. The room was nice and clean.

Great front porch and lobby! Room was small but adequate for the two of us, very clean and looked like new carpet and furniture. Dawn was super nice and helpful! Just a few blocks from the beach, very convenient.

My husband I stayed at the Ocean Breeze hotel for one night in September. We were hoping for a restful night away, but ended up getting a terrible night’s sleep in a disgusting room. For starters, the room looked like a jail cell. White walls, cheap mini blinds, and not one piece of decor to make the room feel welcoming. The bathroom was awful, as well. The whole place clearly hadn’t been cleaned properly (if at all). After returning from dinner, my husband and I checked out the bedsheets. What we found was disgusting: - Bed linens- After examining the sheets, we found a long, dark hair..something I could deal with. But after looking further, we saw what had to be small blood stains along with what I could only imagine to semen stains. Clearly, the sheets don’t get washed between each booking. -Bathroom- Shower/tub looked as if it hadn’t been wiped out. Long hairs on wall of shower. Area behind sink had residue of some sort and looked like it hadn’t been wiped down. - Used napkin underneath the bed - Old pair of socks in nightstand I’m not one to leave reviews, let alone a negative one…but after paying $289 for one night, I’d hope to at least sleep on clean sheets. I emailed the manager requesting a refund and included the photos. She offered no apologies, but kept saying how surprised she was. She asked if we had told the front desk, but nobody when we realized how disgusting our room was. She asked if she could call me back the next day, and never did. My advice to you: Spend your hard earned money elsewhere.

everything was perfect special lobby very impressive thank you for memories .Pool very clean. Quiet nights . Close to beach and boardwalk . Nights concert on the street a plus . Beds comfortable and fluffy pilows .Thank you

A very unsatisfactory stay, fortunately it was only for 2 nights. The television remote was behind the dresser, then it did not work because the batteries were dead. When we finally got the batteries changed the following morning, the television stations which did come in were fuzzy. The direct tv stations did not work at all and there was no wi-fi at all for the 2days. The room was very small, the bathroom was also very small, and the shower water temperature was very tricky to regulate. The bathroom needed several repairs to the walls and there were seldom any persons at the reception desk. All in all stay somewhere.

A clean, quiet, peaceful place. Dana was attentive to our needs and tried her best to accommodate us. I will return at a future date. The price was right as well. Centrally located around area restaurants and stores.

Easy check in, friendly staff, overall good experience, great location! The room was nice, larger than expected. Everything was clean & updated. Be aware, there’s no elevator - could be issue for some. Besides that all positive. Would definitely stay again and highly recommend. Great place!

I have stayed here before and really enjoyed. This time when we had an issue with booking and got to the inn no one was answering the phone line. I used the emergency line and Jason was fantastic but no managers were answering him and we could not get our room. Instead we had to stay across the street at a different hotel. While he could get us a room it was a very long and frustrating experience.

Took a chance and booked a stay for the first time as a solo traveler and was so glad I did! My new Go-To in OCNJ! Perfect location, with a very welcoming and competent staff, especially Dawn the manager, and Rich, the property manager. Solid, handsome, well-maintained classic building, recently refurbished with new bedroom furniture, cotton sheets, all new carpeting, freshly painted walls in blue-gray with white trim, window AC's in large bright windows -- exactly as pictured. Not fussy at all but very clean and comfortable -- just what you want at the shore, and for what you get at the Ocean Breeze, the price is fantastic. The big wrap-around fully furnished porch gets all the breezes, while inside are two large air conditioned living room areas for relaxing on the sofas, playing games, or enjoying the complimentary coffee. A very nice small pool, cleaned and maintained each morning, with umbrella tables and lounge chairs, offers an easy and pleasant alternative to the beach and was never too crowded. Really appreciated having free designated parking and just being able to walk or bike everywhere, with the beach and boardwalk only a couple of blocks away in one direction, the Shops on Asbury in the other, and restaurants on every corner. Loved it so much I turned right around and came back down in August, with family members, for another great stay.
