What a beautiful part of the world. Tranquility personified. We stayed in the Kookaburra room which has an outdoor magnesium pool, indoor spa, veranda and indoor fireplace. Absolutely gorgeous. Absolute privacy. For me it’s the little things which make the difference and this place definitely leads the ways in terms of luxury. Everything has been well thought out and no expense spared. From luxe comfortable bedding to rival the Sofitel, Sheridan towelling, T2 tea bags in all the best flavours, fresh fruit, eggs, bacon, bread, port, gin and cocktail shaker essentials, yoghurts, butter, chocolates from the local providore and a cheese platter on arrival as well as daily freshly baked croissant delivered quietly on our doorstep table. I could go on and on. Every little thing was thought of over and above and was luxury brand, no expense was spared and I will always remember that. We will be back. A definite 10/10.

The beds in this place are so comfortable. The staff are friendly and are just fantastic. My wife is blind and the first thing she said when we walked in the room was how incredible it felt. I recommend this place for anyone visiting the Sunshine Coast Hinterland. 10/10

Our second stay at Narrows and as the first stay it was perfect We love the White Cockatoo Room its incredibly comfortable and has a great resting atmosphere nestled in the trees perfect place to wind down and relax we will be back Thank you Ali and Xochi Perfect as always Cheers Tony Theresa

What a beautiful place to visit. The cabins were well set up , every little detail was thought of. The team were really friendly and walked to your cabin to music playing and the fire crackling. What a perfect way to start, instantly relaxed. The grounds had a small creek running through where you can go for a walk. As we sat for breakfast on the deck of fresh hot croissants delivered to your cabin, a fresh hamper waiting on you arrival, we could hear the birds life in the trees and even visited by them on our deck.

We stayed in May 2024 and had the most wonderful weekend exploring the nearby shops and restaurants. Our accommodation was incredible and exceeded our expectations . We loved dipping into the pool and setting up the fire each night. Ali and Xochi were also very hospitable, dropping us freshly baked croissants every morning and being there for anything we needed. We will definitely be coming back next time we are in Queensland.

Wonderful experience with fantastic hosts, ideal setting, great food and excellent accommodation. Location is close to fantatic restaurants, lovely walks and scenery but still far enough away to be totally private. 100% will recommend to all.

It was our anniversary and we wanted to get away and do something special for ourselves - Narrows Escape ticked every single box! We had the most relaxing weekend and left already planning when we could go back. Ali and Xochi were so accommodating. Cannot recommend highly enough, and definitely worth getting an in-room massage!

I could not fault the amenities and customer service from Ali and Xochi. They were so kind and welcoming. We received a complimentary upgrade to the Whipbird luxury cabin with an outdoor magnesium spa which was unexpected and a lovely surprise! This was our 2nd time coming to this place, the first was in May 2010. The place has expanded but it still remains intimate and private. The little touches like the welcoming pack and the fresh, warm croissants every morning just makes you feel that extra special. We will definitely be returning again but much sooner!

Tranquil bush cabins with all amenities including fresh baked croissants delivered daily to your room by Roscoe. Delicious breakfast basket, coffee machine. 8 couples holidayed here for a week while doing the Sunshine Coast Great walk (difficult). Nothing was too much trouble. Ali & Xochi were fabulous hosts - cooking for us, organising meals out & transport. We’ll be back!

Wow, wow, wow Narrows Escape is the perfect place to relax and unwind. We just got home from our weekend away and had the most enjoyable stay. Ali and Xochi are so friendly and welcoming. They had everything perfect for our stay from the beautifully stocked breakfast hamper and the delicious BBQ pack. Ali's crossaints are the best we have ever had. The bed was so comfortable and the scenery of the rainforest, waterfalls and birds chirping was just so peaceful. We will definitely be back.

What a treat Narrows was. Absolutely loved our stay and Ali and Xochi have gone above and beyond what we were expecting. We booked in for a last-minute kid free getaway to have some time to ourselves and get away from the hustle and bustle. We were met with beautiful scenery, lovely contacts and cozy tranquil space. Don't second guess staying, Narrows is a magical little location. Expect to see us again :)

We struggle with minimum sunlight / Dove cottage had minimal which meant lights on at all times …. Damp musty smell/ air in the cottage also a struggle for me. We understand that is difficult to overcome in a rainforest environment. Goes shower screen dangerously clean 🤣 and we walked into it a number of times so placed a case in front as a reminder. All sounding rather negative but we LOVED our Narrows experience.
