We had our wedding at Wentbridge House Hotel last month and it was phenomenal they made our special day perfect. If you are looking for a wedding venue this is the place to choose. Everything was exceptional from start to finish with incredible attention to detail and fantastic and friendly customer service throughout. Whilst the Wentbridge team were all excellent a few special mentions are needed. Ellie was a brilliant wedding organiser being available and responsive from day 1. Stuart and the bar team specially created welcome drinks to service our guests and ensured a premium offering even though we opted for an alcohol free wedding. Chef Dan and team were more than up to the challenge and made a delicious cultural menu and worked with us to make sure it was exactly what we wanted. Karen on the day was amazing! The reception staff were always available and friendly providing a great welcome and being helpful to all. Everyone commented on how fabulous the hotel and staff were! Nothing was too much trouble and we couldn’t have asked for anything more.Our room was beautiful! Breakfast we had was very yummy too. We highly recommend anyone to have their wedding/ special occasion here! To the Wentbridge team thank you so much again. Deanne & Ade

Came here for a meal with friends in the Brasserie. We had pre-meal drinks before we ate and sat in front of the fire. As i am pregnant and unable to drink i asked for alternative options to which there were quite a few. They made me a non alcoholic gin which tasted nice. For food we ordered off the festive menu. We all had 2 courses which came in good time and was delicious. I had the Daube of Beef and the cheeseboard for dessert. However, be aware that the portions are not large. They were also happy to swap out the glass of free prosecco with a non alcoholic option. We were served by a lovely lady called Leah who was more than happy to help us and was a pleasure to speak with. She made the meal even more enjoyable and was kind enough to reserve a table for us for after meal drinks in the quiet room. We did not feel rushed at any point and could not have asked for better food or service. Will definitely be back in the New Year.

A disappointing meal - not on form. We ate in the Brasserie on a Thursday evening and despite it not being full, the service was very patchy. Firstly, despite the booking being for four, the first couple to arrive were seated at a table for three. We waited some time before a drinks order was taken, and the nibbles served ( pigs in blankets ) were undercooked and lukewarm. There was a long wait for the main course, three of the meals being steak. After delivery of the food, no steak knives were offered, and after two requests for them they arrived, by which time the food had started to go cold. Again, a long wait before the next course was served. All in all, we felt that service was not to its usual standard and perhaps we had visited on an off night. The food was nice, but was spoilt by the lack of appropriate utensils to eat it with.

We booked the Tudor Room to celebrate my 70th birthday and also booked rooms to stay the night. From walking into the hotel and the Tudor Room everything ran like a dream. All our guests thoroughly enjoyed their evening, the meal and service were excellent and the decor of the room was beautiful. This didn’t come as a surprise as we had our wedding reception here and also my 50th and always come for a meal on our birthdays. It is always our go to for a special meal.

Lovely setting, fabulous room ( Garden suite) which was spacious, very well- appointed and tastefully furnished. We ate dinner in The Brasserie - good selection for all palates, well- presented and delicious. Breakfast was delicious too. Staff were excellent throughout, with special mention of our waiter Bobby - he was very attentive and professional throughout our evening meal, and made it special for us. Thank you, Bobby! I recommend this lovely hotel.

I just want to say, I cannot thank everyone enough for making our special day perfect. From start to finish everything was seamless and couldn’t fault and single thing! Food was absolutely delicious and staff were so friendly and attentive! In particular Chloe for organising everything with us and making everything so simple and easy to sort and also Karen on the day, you were amazing! Everyone commented on how fab you were! Nothing was too much trouble and we couldn’t have asked for anything more. Our room was beautiful! Breakfast we also couldn’t fault . Recommend anyone to have their wedding/ special occasion here! Excellent stay at this hotel from checking in to checking out everything was fantastic , our server Leah made it extra special, it has a great selection of wine & champagne , only thing that is missing is a spa , that would make it perfect, looking forward to our next stay

What an unbelievable day mother's Day afternoon tea. Was 10/10 food service and surroundings outstanding. Thank you... In my local area, so beautiful . Had wedding christening and lots of family functions. Delightful . Standards are very high ,silver service etc. expect the best.

Lovely big room, friendly staff, and beautiful gardens. We enjoyed our meal in the brasserie. A convenient place to break the north/south journey. We took the dinner bed breakfast package and enjoyed a glass of fizz in our room where we had a view of the field behind the hotel where we could observe the cute black rabbits .
