Ένα μοντέρνο, μεγάλο και καλαίσθητο ξενοδοχείο, δέκα λεπτά από το κέντρο της Λευκωσίας! Ειδικά στα επαγγελματικά ταξίδια, τα ξενοδοχεία που διαμένω εξυπηρετούν μόνο τη βασική ανάγκη του ύπνου και ίσως το πρωινό εφόσον το πρόγραμμα μου επιτρέπει να αφιερώσω λίγο χρόνο για τον πρώτο καφέ εκεί. Σε αυτές τις περιπτώσεις, αυτό που μένει να αξιολογήσεις από την εμπειρία της διαμονής είναι η πρώτη εντύπωση, το προσωπικό, το δωμάτιο, η υγιεινή και η καθαριότητα και σε όλα αυτά το Semeli Hotel κερδίζει!!! Πολύ όμορφο ξενοδοχείο με προσεγμένη αισθητική, πολύ ευγενικό προσωπικό, πολύ όμορφο και άνετο δωμάτιο - με το προσωποποιημένο welcome στην οθόνη της τηλεόρασης να ξεχωρίζει - και το πιο σημαντικό ειδικά σε περίοδο COVID19 είναι η υγιεινή και η καθαριότητα που δεν μπορούσα να αμφισβητήσω!

Σε γενικές γραμμές ευχάριστη διαμονή , συμπαθητικό το πρωινό και όμορφος ο χώρος . Το δωμάτιο είχε μια μυρωδιά σαν από κλειστό χώρο που δεν έχει αεριστεί καλά , αυτό ήταν πολύ ενοχλητικό . Επίσης τα σεντόνια είχαν μυρωδιά σαν να μην έχουν καθαριστεί καλά . Το προσωπικό ήταν πολύ ευγενικό .

This accommodation is not suitable for business trips due to a lack of respect for quiet hours. During my previous stay, I encountered significant disturbances caused by guests who checked in at 2 a.m. They made considerable noise while coming and going from their rooms and played music loudly. When I reported this to the reception, it took two hours for the staff to address the situation. Ultimately, the receptionist asked the guests to keep the noise down and informed them exactly which room made the complaint and this time they had an event that’s lasts until late at night and no one notified us even though they knew it was a business trip and guaranteed it would be a quiet two days for the hotel. Indicating a lack of professionalism and respect for guests.

AC was not working for two days. Even after fixing it. It was very noisy Hard of sleep because of the Insect bites and sound of the constructions. The hotel refused to change the room even there were two empty ones due to hotel policy. Very bad shower, balcony needs new furniture. No free water in the mini bar. Overall, very bad experience!

We are really sorry to see that you did not have a pleasant experience with us after so many days that you were accommodated at the Hotel. Going through and having processed the facts that you have stated, indeed, there was an issue with the air-conditioning and it was resolved the second day of your stay after noon. We had no other report from your side that you had an issue with the air-conditioning after that. With regards to the construction site that you are referring to, there was nothing around that time at the hotel area that was causing any noise and besides that you were located at a very quiet room on the top floor. With regards to the room change as you were told and explained many times, the hotel was fully booked with not any available options of room move. It was not possible and not because we did not want to give you that option but because we could not once, we had the opportunity to change your room we did. You had requested to be accommodated in one of your colleagues’ rooms and you were told that it was not possible to be accommodated in the specific room but to another available. It was again explained to you that due to the hotel occupancy and room allocation it was not possible but instead you were given another room on the top floor. We are very surprised with your published feedback since we were given the impression that we did meet your expectations and succeed to accommodate you in the best possible way for the rest of your stay. Les prestations sont de bon niveau pour un 3 étoiles sup. Les buffets sont corrects pour le petit déjeuner et le dîner. J'ai regretté le manque d'homogénéité des chambres. Certaines avec balcon, d'autres avec une petite fenêtre. Certaines avec une grande salle de bains, d'autre avec une salle de douche presque dans un placard tellement la pièce est étroite. Que c'est dommage surtout lorsque le tarif est le même par personne. (Le problème du groupe)

Hôtel est éloigné du centre ville. Les chambres sont grandes et très propres. L hôtel a beaucoup de charme. La restauration est plus que correcte, les buffets sont copieux et variés et le personnel très sympathique et à l écoute des clients.

Het hotel ligt in een rustige buurt en is een geschikte uitvalsbasis voor een verkenning van de stad. De ontvangst is hartelijk en het personeel is vriendelijk en behulpzaam. De kamers zijn goed. De warme maaltijden in buffetvorm zijn voldoende maar niet erg gevarieerd van samenstelling.

It’s 86 degrees here, 86 degrees! No air conditions available in the hotel, they refuse to refund our money as we check out after 3 hours due to our daughter’s respiratory issues. Rooms are dated and tight, hotel is far away from any restaurants or attractions.

Unfortunately, we were not able to turn on the Air conditioning Cooling Mode on the time, being in a transitional climatic period experiencing a large temperature difference between hot in the midday hours and cold in the evening hours. The Front Desk was informed and then of course the Hotel Management for your complaint but there was no time to react since you decided to check out earlier. Your reservation was made thought a third-party partner and we were unable to refund you directly but we had to go thought your agent. This is exactly what we did, we informed the agent about the incident the same day and refunded fully your agent and demanded to refund you as well and of course to inform you immediately for the refund. With regards to the room size, we tried to ultimately utilize the available area providing to our Guests all necessary services and facilities for a City Hotel. With regards to the timeless decoration and furnishing approach, it has been followed on purpose as this imparts a unique character and differentiates our hotel from many others. This is management choice and we never lacked of any advanced technology of the current century. You received the room type that you had chosen based on the brochures /pictures that you saw and nothing less, we do understand that this might not have been what you actually wanted but this is what we represent to the market. The hotel is located in a central business location with access to many available options around and the old /town, city center within 2km distance from the hotel. Again, this is exactly what the hotel advertises and share to the public and future guests and we never mislead our guests to believe otherwise. We are truly sorry that we did not have the chance resolve any issue and to achieve our main goal of ultimate guest satisfaction. A few challenges with this hotel ie aircon, bugs, slow drainage in bath, slow lifts, parking etc - but this is all the Cyprus experience. Special mention to Alexi, Sylvia and Michalis who were the cheeriest and most helpful souls. Thank you. If you want a Cyprus experience, stay there - if you want no challenges or character, stay at the Hilton. It is a bit away from shops, bars etc so get organised with water, snacks and any other liquid refreshments you may like. Enjoyed the stay and based on the expectations as above, would recommend for price. Thank you x

This hotel is located in south Nicosia, close to the business district and just off the main A1: it is however in a quiet side street, and there is dedicated parking underneath the hotel. First impressions are that the hotel is quite old-fashioned, with lots of dark wood and heavy chairs. Reception was fantastic - engaging, informative, polite and helpful. Our room was a good size, with a balcony, good blackout curtains and a decent Smart TV showing a number of English-speaking channels. The bathroom was small but well-equipped, with a powerful shower and pleasant toiletries. It is the beds which are the star of the show (which they always should be in a hotel!) - these are the most comfortable beds ever (unless you like sleeping on something which is rock hard)! Our only slight complaint is that the air conditioning was not the most effective in our room. The breakfast buffet was good, with attentive staff, lots of fresh coffee and a choice of cooked or 'continental' foods. We would recommend the Semeli: the hotel is good and the staff (and beds) are great.
