瑟迪亞河畔飯店(Sedia Riverside Hotel)

After a few days in Khwai we had a stop over at Sedia on the campsite. Most time was spent in the bar, restaurant and pool area. The staff is very friendly and helpfull. The place has had a big make over and it certainly has improved. The restaurant as well, nice menu and very nice food is served there. The ablutions were very clean, even with the big groups of overlanders, the place was kept tidy. We had a great time here!

A nicely appointed, clean and spacious hotel, with lovely grounds. Our room was a good size, and the bed was huge! There wasn’t much sound isolation between the room and the wooden walkway outside its worth noting, and windows onto the walkway you need to keep closed if you want privacy, We didn’t eat an even meal there, but breakfast and lunch were good. The pool was a good size too, with pool beds available around it. The hotel is about a 10 minute taxi ride out of the town centre, so you will need a car or taxis to get around. The hotel were good at arranging transport when we needed it. It is about an 15 minute walk from the Okovango Craft Brewery if that’s of interest.

Hotel underpromises and over delivers. Connie at the front office and her team were exceptionally friendly and welcoming. Slight hiccup in the night with the aircon going down. In the middle of the night I hesitantly decided to go through to the office to see if anyone could help. Meshack on duty was amazing. Went above and beyond to fix the aircon for me before the morning. Definitely the best service I have experienced in Botswana.

Unterirdische Bedienung, sehr kleine Portionen und ständige falsche (überzogene) Rechnungen. Angesehen davon in Ordnung. Keine Empfehlung! Bar keeper betrunken und Cocktails auch nicht im entferntesten gut. Schade, die Location ist toll.

Situato a Maun è comodo per il volo panoramico sul Delta dell'Okavango. Ho soggiornato 2 notti nell'area campeggio potendo fruire di tutti i servizi dell'hotel compresa la piscina. I bagni comuni nella parte del campeggio sono puliti, spaziosi e con acqua calda. Buona anche la cucina del ristorante. La connessione wi-fi è accessibile solo nell'area reception piscina. Lo consiglio

Sedia Hotel offers excellent value and a super location for an overnight stay either side of a safari. The restaurant, pool and bar are great and offer a fantastic menu with delicious pizzas and fillet steaks being our favourite. The breakfast spread suited all tastes and the newly renovated rooms are most comfortable. The fact that airport transfers are included in the rate is most convenient and we would also like to thank the staff for their impeccable service!

The accommodation was excellent, rooms and linnen lovely and clean and fresh.The setting of the hotel around the pool is lovely,and the staff,very friendly and helpful. Breakfast and dinner were excellent, a very good restaurant with very tasty food.The reception staff were also very friendly and competent.We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would return and recommend it to our friends.

I stayed here for one night in June 2023 after camping in the delta and it was great! My room, which was in an area further from the pool/restaurant, was newly renovated and modern. All toiletries were provided and it was very clean. The hotel did my laundry and the restaurant was good.
