帕特里克的船屋(Patricks Boathouse)

Der Anfang war etwas holprig/schwierig, da anfänglich niemand vor Ort war. Wir checkten dann unsere Mails (zum Glück war uns dies möglich im Ausland) und fanden den Zugangscode dort. Ich erhielt keine Pushmeldung deswegen von *********. In den Ferien checke ich meine Mails nicht regelmässig. Nicht alle Reisenden haben Daten im Ausland und können überhaupt ihre Mails per Handy checken. Deshalb ist diese Art des Check ins nicht praktisch und stressig. Wenn man vor Ort sofort und ungefragt ein gratis Wlan zur Verfügung hätte, wäre das ganze sehr viel stressfreier. Die ganze Unterkunft war sehr schön und liebevoll dekoriert, sogar mit Hundekeksen und Handcréme im Korridor. Unser Zimmer war umwerfend schön, sehr gross und mit sehr viel Liebe gestaltet/dekoriert. Alles war farblich abgestimmt mit sehr viel Stil in meiner Lieblingsfarbkombination pink-grün. Vom Fenster aus sah man das Meer. Alles war sehr sauber. Die Unterkunft hatte alles, was man sich wünschen konnte. Das Doppelbett war breit und sehr bequem, ich schlief wie auf einer Wolke. Nachts war es ruhig. Das Bad war ebenfalls sehr grosszügig mit vielen Pflegeprodukten im Spender. Ales funktionierte tiptop. Es hatte genügend Kaffee, Tee usw mit einem kontinentalen Frühstück auf und im Kühlschrank. Leider reisten wir dann weiter, so dass wir nur eine Nacht dort waren, aber wir würden sofort wieder buchen. Es war einfach wunderbar! Es gibt gar nichts zu beanstanden.

There was only 1 small thing that i would have preferred a window that i could open at night I only had a set of french doors The room was very hot and i read leaflet saying heating on 24 hours so we turn all heaters off at 3pm when we got there On returning room still hot so a window would have been perfect

Fantastic place to stay in Mumbles, near the beach walk and lots of pubs and restaurants. The internet was very good, and they provide a nice continental breakfast selection within the room. Be aware that there is no parking at the Boathouse, and parking on the street is a possibility, but you'll probably end up using one of the pay and go lots along Mumbles Road.

The name is quite deceptive as it suggests the rooms are attached to a restaurant when in fact they are just rooms. Set up is quite like an airbnb, self check in via a key deposit safe. Despite the fact this is quite pricey, breakfast is described as "complimentary" snacks which is some basic continental items in your in room fridge. Big room, reasonably located, good for those avoiding any human contact.

First time in Mumbles and loved it even on a winters day. Accommodation is off the Main Street so need to find parking which we did. Room had sea views and was well equipped and lovely and warm. Highly recommend this accommodation.

Lovely place, well located for both the centre of The Mumbles and the pier. Room was fabulous, both the bedroom and the bathroom were huge and having a sofa in the room was an added bonus. Would definitely stay here again if we’re in the area.

First of all the good stuff. The arrangments for arrival were great. Good instructions for a key safe and really easy. A lovely bedroom, clean and nice decor with a good view out of the mumbles across swansea bay. The bathroom decor was also very good, modern an clean. There were three not so good things that made us cut our visit short by a night despite having paid for it. 1) temperature. When we arrived the rooms were cold. Checked tbe radiators but they were switched fully on with the radiator thermostats. The radiators were barely warm to the touch. As we were heading out for the evening amd in a rush we just kept our coats on and headed out. The next morning i headed into the lovely lòoking shower to find the water between cold and barely warm. My wife didn't have one. 2)parking. There is no parking and the description said there is good street parking or paid parking. Well even in december it was impossible to find a space within 1/4 mile of the place. Heaven knows what it is like in the summer. 3) breakfast. Well it was pathetic. A couple of the kiddies boxes of cereal, or two pots of youghurt in a noisy fridge by the bed. It didn't qaulify in my mind as even a continental breakfast. We didn't bother complaining as there was no reception but just came home early as it was warmer in the car.

Parking a big negative As was the driveway between two restaurants which was very steep. The entrance and staircase were lovely. Our room was two floors up steep stairs. The view was lovely. The tv was difficult to use. Bathroom large but lighting not great. The shower was large but grouting on grey tiles definitely needs attention. Breakfast cereals etc with fresh milk a nice touch. A definite turn off returning is parking on main road which is extremely busy and littered with dustbins from the large number of small restaurants. Bed was ok but hair on the sofa pillows not welcome

lovely place to stay. bright decor, large bed and huge bathroom with separate large bath and shower. breakfast in the fridge for our 2 nights. Great views of the bay and perfect base to explore the Gower
