Astoria旅館拉瓜迪亞飯店(Astoria Inn LaGuardia Hotel)

Prima hotel in een leuke omgeving met heel veel restaurantjes en winkels. Metro om de stad in te gaan was op 10 minuten lopen van het hotel. Zeer vriendelijk personeel. Muren zijn wel redelijk dun en dus was het vrij gehorig.

The room was much smaller than we anticipated, but that really wasn't that big of a deal. The worst part about the room was that the floor was so dirty. It seemed that it hadn't been swept or cleaned before we arrived. Behind the nightstand were clumps of dust and hair. The walls had specks of something in many places. The bathroom had tile grout all over the tile instead of in the cracks between the tiles, like it should be. There was also smears of caulking in the tub, instead of where it should be. Both of these just show that the hotel is trying to cut corners and are lazy. The bath products they provide are also really cheap and aren't enough for your needs. If you choose to stay here, be prepared to not sleep well as it was noisy outside every night we stayed and we woke up stiff after sleeping on the bed. The door to the hallway also had a large gap at the bottom so we could hear everything being said out there and whenever anybody was walking around. Not really conducive to privacy.

We checked in and were given a key card to an occupied room… the person was in there smoking cigarettes. Startled the hell out of us. The front desk woman kindly gave us a new room. New room was fine; generally dingy but doable. The real issue was the continuous smoking of cigarettes all night long by the other guests. We could not sleep it was that bad. We ended up not staying a second night. Still working on getting a refund. If you smoke cigs or **** inside- this place is perfect for you!! For people needing to show up to work in scrubs the next day- expect to smell like a walking cigarette.

Die Zimmer sind amerikanischer Standard. Sauber und funktionell. Besonders das Serviceteam ist hervorragend. Immer hilfsbereit und freundlich. Die Umgebung ist speziell aber sicher. Ich würde dort wieder wohnen wollen.

Location was ok. Lot of restaurants in the area, so great if you want to grab a quick breakfast when headed to Manhattan. There are a couple of metro stations in the area (~ 10 min walk from the hotel).

Very nice place. Everything freshly painted. Very helpful staff. And in a very good neighborhood. Room was newly renovated and very clean.

Stay was ok. Couldn’t control the room temperature so it was freezing in our room the whole stay. The staff were friendly and great restaurant options near by.

Hallway was loud, creaking doors banging and loud voices through the night. Parking was ok, we got blocked in and could not access our car fro a day. The website says parking available but makes no mention of a fee.
