馬爾馬拉公園大道飯店(The Marmara Park Avenue)

Second time staying at this hotel. Great stay all around but 2 smaller things…some of the furnishings were a bit outdated and the shower did not have a full length door/enclosure. All around, this is a very solid option in a good location, easy transport access and friendly staff.

Very small hotel appartment style. The Reception and Pool doesn’t like picture. It was very cold water. It’s not for family with kids. dining and doorbell service are very very limited. one or two workers in bar and dining service. She was late for 1 hour. We have to wait for her. Breakfast is very late and very very very slow for 4 mornings. When we left, they were two doorbells men but no man helps to open door or luggages in morning. I have a terrible view of every roofs and windows of all buildings in backyard. My room next to trash maintenance / Electricity’s room. The building is located next to an old homeless building. zero parking and no valet. Hotel is near to empire State and korean town and one the room studio with kitchen was clear and comfortable and a lady in reception was very nice and helpful.

We waited 30 minutes to check in as the one staff member struggles with the group in front. Apparently no one else could help. The shower filled the bathroom floor with water. One light did not work, but the 3 calls to ask someone to fix it went unanswered. No food or drinks after 12. Around the pool is dirty and pool over chlorinated. The staff were surly and unhelpful - except the gents at the lobby bar who were lovely. The whole thing was disappointing.

The people and the spaciousness of our room was fantastic. It had everything and, surprise, a washer and dryer. The location is excellent. You could see the Empire State Building and the Chrysler Building up close if you only turned the corner. The only slightly negative thing was that the couch smelled like cat odor. Could not figure out why.

L accueil est sympathique mais les chambres et les services sont un peu défraîchis Les chambres sont vieillottes avec des meubles abimés Le petit déjeuner est exclusivement à la carte et la serveuse est seule donc il faut longtemps pour être servi. La piscine est grande mais la température est un peu fraîche et il n y a pas de jacuzzi donc on ne peut pas rester longtemps dans l eau L hôtel correspond plus à un 4 étoiles qu a un 5 etoiles

Bathroom sink only gave hot water, cold water pipe wasnt functional. Bathroom door couldnt close properly. Mattress made of the most cheap material, you will literally sink in and not in a good way. Woke with back pains. This is all in a room they claimed was an upgrade. Then they had the nerve to tell me it was $4 for a SINGLE banana in their restaurant. Not worth the price at all. I will say that the staff was kind. That's it.

The hotel boasts an incredibly convenient location, with everything within walking distance. However, one aspect that didn't meet our expectations was the bed in the room. It was quite noisy, to the point where even a slight change in sleeping position resulted in noticeable noise.

Very handsome decor, good size room and very comfortable beds. Super polite and helpful staff. Excellent location, close to Grand Central. Beautiful indoor salt water pool was a great way to cool off after a day in the city.
