洛厄爾飯店(Lowell Hotel)

The Lowell is a lovely boutique hotel on the UE with good proximity to shopping and great restaurants. We highly recommend the Lowell for its location and very attentive staff -- from the front desk to housekeeping and room service. All were top notch!

We spent last week in NYC - the weather was cold, wet and windy. But when we entered The Lowell we were immediately transported into an atmosphere of comfort and warmth. The hotel has everything you expect in the top NYC hotel - the rooms are beautifully decorated, and each member of staff went out of their way to ensure that our stay was perfect. The Club Room has its own special ambiance, and Jacques Bar offers wonderful cocktails and the best service. We have already made reservations for our next visit - we can't imagine staying anywhere else.

Why did I ever stay anywhere else when in NYC? To be clear, I like quiet, sophisticated well appointed hotels where guest experience/satisfaction are not just words on a website. Our suite had a wood burning fireplace for Pete’s sake! Great food Sublime service Beautiful ambience Do yourself a favour when in NYC stay at this hotel.

A better experience does not exist. The entire staff is thoughtful, professional and friendly. I had a small problem the plumbing in my room and the situation was resolved immediately and professionally and I was moved to a new room. I felt so cared for. I cannot imagine staying anywhere but with The Lowell and I have been coming for over 30 years.

The Lowell, with it's breathtaking entrance and art/antique clad spaces, is a NYC landmark hotel,, front door steps away from the retail outposts of Madison & Fifth avenue and the Central Park playgrounds. My Deluxe Junior Suite was very accommodating with seating space and a ivy laced landscaped terrace. Fresh flowers, curated art work, hardwood floors, desk and armchair rendered a residential feel to the environment. Classic casement windows that opened, provided natural light, fresh air and cityscape views. A wood burning fireplace elevated the coziness of the space. A marbleized bath was outfitted with separate soaking tub and shower, dual basins and heated floor. The Lowell is endowed with an array of eating and drinking venues. The Majorelle is a restaurant offering a menu of French classics fused with Moroccan influences. The decor of the Majorelle is "well dressed" with beautiful floral arrangements and table settings. Luxurious dishes from the menu include: Snails in Puff Pastry, Grilled Branzino, Roast rack of Lamb, Duck Breast and Pistachio Souffle (the house specialty). I tried the Lobster Risotto....excellent.......and I didn't pass on dessert.....Mille Feuille.....a gem of a sweet. Seasonal bar bites and coveted cocktails can be had at Jacques Bar with a decor inspired by the beautiful Majorelle Garden of Marrakesh (I loved the Moroccan Mint Tea). The Club Room is an absolutely sumptuous communal place where one can enjoy a drink and/or a small bites menu. The Pembrooke Room is a renowned European emporium available for daily breakfast, brunch and afternoon tea. So, if you want the intimacy of a small luxury hotel with beautiful surroundings coupled to impeccable service................then try the Lowell Hotel............................ .............a gem of a hotel.

Great location. Average service. Some rooms need refreshing and some maintenance. Housekeeping not great. Front desk very nice. Bedlinens and blankets could be better. Electrics in room were weird. But amazing location and boutique hotel. Peaceful.

I have stayed in just about all of the NYC heavy hitting hotels and this is in my top two. The Lowell will forever be my NYC winter hotel!! I loved the warm coziness of the hotel and how absolutely chic it was. The service was impeccable and the room was pure luxury. I've found my calmness in a city of madness. :)

Don't change a single thing!!!! My niece and I want to make this an annual trip!!!!!We had a TRIUMPH of a time!!!!!!!! My favorite city, my favorite hotel and MY FAVORITE PEOPLE!!!!! THANK YOU FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART!!!!! LOVE LOTS, SUSIE CORRIGAN

Truly a hidden gem in New York and the upper east side. Amazing service, personalized at every step… intimate and hospitable. Like coming home to your own an amazing apartment in the city.
