Pros 1) walking distance to the subway station and restaurants 2) Quiet location considering its closed distance to the train station 3) Daily housekeeping service ( towel change, cleaning, make beds erc) Cons 1) Room description listed non-smoking room, however rooms smell like cigarettes. If you are sensitive to smoke, do not book in this place 2) No free breakfast as listed in the room description. The hotel doesnt have a dining area onsite. 3) The hotel needs an upgrade. The TV didnt work during our stay 4) Expensive considering the quality and amenities. The hotel is highly priced due to the convenience of being closed to the subway. 5) Lots of activity in the lobby area at night. This hotel offers rooms by the hour - if you get the hint …

I stayed here for the second time because supposedly it was remodeled. Not true, Yes, new curtains and bedskirts and wallpaper. However, no soap in bathroom, no top sheet on the bed so you sleep under a comforter used...how many times??? Filthy lamps with broken shade, smell of cigarettes, the phone didn't work. But...a beautiful view of Manhatten.

The room I got had some sort of humidity issue on ceiling. The paint was falling off. The room smelled really humid. The shower floor wasn’t sealed correctly so every time we took a shower the water went everywhere in the bathroom. When I first arrived we found what looked like “pee” on the bathroom floor. I got locked out of my room twice because the lock wasn’t working properly and had to wait for staff to come open up the room for me. Not even the master key would work. We had an ironing board but no iron. I stayed 3 nights and nobody ever came to clean. My trash can was overflowing.

The best thing about the hotel was it’s location ! Excellent! restaurants ,food shopping stores public transportation, etc. fantastic ! The rooms need a small refrigerator, and a updated HDF TV . Furniture needs maintenance, it appears run down a bit and used .

Our room was clean and very comfortable. The hotel is close to the 7 subway but our room was quiet. I could barely hear a low rumble when the train pulled in and out of the 82nd St. stop but it did not disturb our sleep at all. The furnishings are a bit dated but in good shape and our bed was great, The room is large and comfortable. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Lots of dining options close by from all corners of the world, especially South America. Also some quintessential American fast food options (McDonalds, Dunkin’ Donuts, Liberty Bagels) steps away for a quick breakfast and coffee. If you are visiting Jackson Heights this is a very good place to stay.

We found this hotel depressing and uncomfortable. There were always characters hanging out in the lobby, which is full of signs essentially complaining about how they won’t accept deadbeat behavior. The elevator reeked of pot. The water pressure was low. The noise of thumping bass from the street was just audible to be very annoying until almost 5am on the Friday we were there. The finishes are sad and old. It was very expensive for what it was.

Non-smoking room smelled like smoke. Called front desk. She said the other rooms are even worse. I asked if the windows open. "They used to". Weak customer service..

I like the bathroom. It was clean and looks new. Beddings are clean. Not bad for the hotel cost per night
