This hotel was fine but so, so, so loud. They put me in a room that was inches away from an elevator and it truly felt like I was inside the elevator all night. Even with ear plugs and the fan on, I could not sleep from all the noise of the elevator banging every few minutes. The one window in my room was facing the windows of building next door and I couldn’t open the blind without looking at people in their office break room across the way. I’ve lived in nyc for many years so I’m used to the noise but this was different.

The hotel had staff working in the halls at 0230 every night. When I spoke to the front desk they were not concerned. I came back mid day to my door propped open while the cleaning staff was in another room with the door closed. They could see what was going on and all the doors on our floor were propped open..Terrible! I would look for another hotel.

I canceled stay due to a tropical storm hitting NYC - ******* reservation said cancellation may cost me one day. Hotel charged me the full stay both nights. Hotel and ******* terrible - ALWAYS book directly with hotel it is much easier to change reservations if something happens. Most hotels will give you the ******* rate if it is better,

Check in went well and quick after a long flight and ride in from JFK. I was surprised at how small the room. I understand that I had a King size bed but i literally had 3 feet of room on all sides of the bed. The bed was comfortable though. There was a very small closet that held like 2-3 items but no place else to put your close s ince there was no other seating in the room. My clothes ended up on the floor. Cant imagine what would have happened if I had taken my girlfriend. Since I was rarely in my room for anything other than sleeping it turned out ok. However there are many other choices for the same price.

We booked a room for a work trip. We chose the room that said it had a workspace as we needed to work a full 8 hr workday from the room. Was there a desk? Yes. Was there a chair? No. We asked several times for any kind of chair and not a single person responded to our requests. $450 /night for a room with not a single place to sit other than the bed? Nah that ain’t it. Never stating there again
