戈貝里伍德茲(Goldberry Woods- A Modern Farm Resort)

Amazing unique experience! So much of everything to do. Came for a quick relaxing getaway and it checked all the boxes! Incredibly friendly people and a delicious breakfast. We were able to feed chickens, see baby quails hatch, and roast S’mores. Would definitely recommend!

The sweetest, most beautiful bed and breakfast meets organic farming at its finest, and I am smitten! My husband and I snuck away just for one night, and after the natural surroundings, delicious scratch breakfast, amazingly comfortable beds, and wonderful staff, left fully recharged. Location is proximate to many bigger beach towns, though a quick stop at the Black Currant in Union Pier was worth the visit, too. Cannot recommend Godberry Woods enough!

What an interesting place! We had an amazing time during our stay. The property is vast and beautiful. The rooms at the inn are very clean, unique, and comfortable, with excellent internet and streaming TV. The food was delicious, made with fresh ingredients from the farm you're staying on. Despite being conveniently close to "city" features like the many restaurants and beaches, the property feels wonderfully secluded, as if civilization is a world away.

Spent two nights with my husband and 97 year old mother. The accommodations were very comfortable. Mom slept in the king and my husband and I slept in the twin beds in the joining room. My mother was able to use her walker in the bedroom/bathroom. The shower was handicapped accessible too but she didn't use it. We did and it was great. The property is lovely. Nestled in the woods. So fun to see the cool garden and to learn about their market. We enjoyed a camp fire in the fire pit one night. We drove into New Buffalo for two meals. The drive through the beautiful homes was very fun. We ordered the cheese and crackers and local wine the first night and enjoyed it the second night as well. It was nice to have a guest refrigerator we could use. Owners Eric and Julie are very personable, kindly answering all our questions. Carly was also very helpful. We had two delicious gourmet breakfasts. It was too windy to hang out on the beach but we did borrow the beach chairs from their shed just in case. They have a plethora of anything you might need for the beach and the grounds in the shed. They also have bikes. Ferris did a 20 minute chair yoga for the 3 of us in the barn when she found out the age of my mom and that it wasn't easy for her to get up off the floor. Ferris is excellent!!!!! Very relaxing yoga. The property has a relaxed feel to it. We hiked the easy upper trail with my mom. The children will love a very clever scavenger hunt on the property. The gorgeous spring flowers have sprung. I would love to come back to see how the vegetable garden and flower garden are growing. I know it will be beautiful. I would recommend this B&B.

We arrived a little early and were met by Eric who gave us a quick tour. We stayed in the Sassafras room which was very nice! We explored the property and the area which was perfect (I love being outside surrounded by trees). Breakfast by Carly was delicious! We will definitely go back!

We took advantage of a mid-week special and saved some $ while also having the three huge common areas, (kitchen/diningroom, living room and sunroom) nearly to ourselves. I would get up a few hours before my adult daughter, have coffee, check email etc. in the sunroom. We canoed the river, (saw a large crane), soaked and swam in the enclosed hot tub and pool during a rainstorm , hiked the woods trail (dotted with humerous viginettes) and explored the farm. We walked the New Buffalo beach boardwalk and shops only 10 minutes away and at the Three Oaks Journeyman distillery enjoyed cauliflour steak, pulled pork and a purple rain mixed drink (add the lemon juice and blue drink turns purple.)

Beautiful place nestled in nature. Yummy food, realizing vibes & well kept property to explore. Great amenities - pool, hot tube, ping pong, kayaks, books, games, coffee, tea bar, fire pit, lounging chairs, garden, farm, chickens….Worth the visit!

Kayaks, bikes, farm fresh food, great staff, clean, calming, games and puzzles. Beautiful rooms. Went for a two hour canoe ride on the river all included in price of the stay! I had a great time here with my mom. Loved going into new Buffalo, Union pier and to see Lake Michigan.

Goldberry Woods has been an annual trip for us for the past 4 years now. We love the beautiful property and farm to table experience! Julie and Eric are excellent hosts and run things with such exceptional love and care. Whether going for a weekend getaway as a couple, with the family, or a group of friends we would recommend Goldberry to anyone!
