The room was beyond my expectations the view from my room was spectacular Nakuru is beautiful from Merica hotel. I slept so well I forgot I was in a hotel. Worth every and the food oh the food was sumptuous!! You're gonna love it! The view from the room overlooks the park, the roads, the lake in the distance and the hills simply beautiful ❤️

Spent 2 nights and will never go back. Ordered drinks and had to keep reminding the staff of our order. 1 hour later with still no drinks, we gave up and went to the room. First night the food was awful, was not as described on the menu. I had a roast chicken with potatoes, no Gravy and the chicken was actually cooked in loads of onions. 2nd night I decided to go with charcoal cooked mutton with brown ugali. I specifically asked the waiter if it was definitely charcoal grilled and he confirmed it was. The food came and the meat had been fried in oil, full of onions, extremely salty and very tough! BTW I don't salt my food as I have high blood pressure . The ugali was raw!! I complained but only got an apology and if I wanted to order another meal the I would have to pay! Our drinks kept coming with ice which we specifically asked not to add. They took back the drinks and only removed the ice rather than making fresh ones even though we pointed out we were from UK and can't have ice!. Room was equipped for 1 even though we were paying double rate! All in all terrible service! The

The waterless was very friendly and professional, and very attentive with service . The delivery was done on time hot and fresh for taking and drinking. Once instance which has excited us, is when we requested for Ice tea to be sugared, she carried and done for us in perfect. She served us with Excellence. The meal and drinks were perfect done.

Excellent customer service, well prepared food with generous portions, clean quiet comfortable rooms that make you feel at home. It is well located at the heart of Nakuru making it easier to access key areas. They should invest in a big parking space. I enjoyed my stay.

The Hotel is within the town center and easily accessable. The staff are very friendly. Excellent food, spacious and cosy rooms and they are baby friendly. They do have a state of art gym with with clean swimming pool. A place to visit again. .

Merica is a gem in Nakuru city, had great experience while attending a conference, accommodation , conference , food on point, the environment is quite conducive..great leadership under Tom Githire . . Kudos team... Lawrence
