奇瓦布什旅舍(Ziwa Bush Lodge)

Las instalaciones son perfectas en medio de muchísima vegetación, todo súper cuidado, las cabañas están decoradas con muchísimo gusto y súper limpias, las ventanas tienen todas mosquiteras pero no vidrio y por eso para calentar la estancia por las noches te ponen bolsas de agua caliente súper confortables. El servicio es una pasada, todos los empleados sonríen y se muestran súper serviciales, son una maravilla. Están siempre atentos, sobre todo de mis hijas pequeñas, lo cual agradezco. Esta muy convenientemente situado junto al lago Nakuru, otra pasada, para mi uno de los parques más bonitos que he podido ver en Kenia, muy recomendable. Además este alojamiento tiene una labor social increíble, son parte de un orfanato y muchos jóvenes están empleados en este hotel para garantizar su futuro, muy recomendable, también tuvimos una habitación familiar perfecta para los 4.

Magnifique lodge pas très loin du lac Nakuru. Un endroit magique. Très bien pour une nuit entre les parcs . Belle déco, bonne nourriture et personnel charmant. Joli terrasse pour voir les oiseaux le matin au petit déjeuner.

Kudos for the work that has gone into the craftsmanship and ambience of the lodge. Without a doubt, a welcome oasis in this part of the country. The service was alright, though with a touch of laissez-faire attitude but passable. The drink choices on our last visit were a but limited, and frequent power interruptions clearly affected the food menu variety and quality in some cases. However, we would still give it another shot, hoping things improve.

We have been to Ziwa Bush Lodge a few years ago and the service and food was so poor that we haven't been for 6 years. As Kembu Cottages were full this weekend, we decide to give Ziwa another chance. Although the rooms are comfy and clean, the food is poor and that's why I am writing this review. Chicken tikka masala was served on a skewer with fries. The chicken was cold. This morning both coffee machines were 'broken' so only instant was available. My husband is allergic to milk, and although the staff were informed of this before we arrived, everything on the evening menu included some form of milk. Thankfully, the chef was able to help and give him some steak, but it was overcooked. This morning for breakfast, my husband was served mushrooms with his breakfast. We are assuming that they contained milk in some form as he has been ill since. At no point did anyone come and ask us how our food was. Further points. to add: wifi in room is weak. Children are swimming in the pool unsupervised. We are not sure if they are staff children or local children, but although they were having a great time, we were concerned for their safety. The local church starts at 6:30am on a Sunday - so don't expect to sleep in. Mould is evident on the tent ceiling. Shampoo, body lotion and shower gel are provided but no conditioner. Bath / shower towels were provided but no hand towels. Hot water bottles in the bed were a nice touch. Overall, at $270 for one night, a most disappointing stay.

The lodge is at the end of a rough dirt road. The lodge is beautiful. The rooms excellent. The bar restaurant is alongside a lake surrounded by trees filled with birds. There is a swimming pool and outside bar. Play equipment for kids. The food is delicious The staff are friendly and helpful. I truly enjoyed my stay here and would happily stay again

Nice environment, limited activities for the kids, good food. Looks so ordinary, mattresses are very bad, my kids had bad body aches because of the mattress not worth a sleep but a day visit. Too expensive for the type of service. Deliver something that has value for money

Wunderschöne Anlage mit tollen Hütten. Sehr nettes und hilfreiches Personal. Gutes Essen als Buffet. Einzig die Anfahrt ist sehr holprig, sollte mit einem normalen PKW jedoch möglich sein. Gute Lage zu den gates des Nakuru National Parks.

Although a bit distant from Lake Nakuru, the journey along bumpy roads from the main road to the resort is well worth it. This place is a fantastic destination for family enjoyment, boasting spacious rooms, open surroundings, and fabulous dining options as its key attractions. The staff members consistently exhibit courtesy and enthusiasm to assist, ensuring a delightful experience throughout your stay

Very unfriendly arrogant hosts and management, racists in our own country Buffet with no vegetables, no varieties of proteins and carbs no fruits no soda nor water priced exorbitantly Very poor service delivery They don't take complaints positively This was my 5th year consecutively visiting the place but was told I don't have to go back and actually the money am spending there is so little for me to complain, Paid and left.
