蓋布爾斯大飯店(The Grand Gables)

I had made a booking for a couple travelling to Nairobi for their first time together and they were excited to stay at the grand gables. The checkin was smooth and overall experience was great. The issues started at checkout as the lady at the reception hit my friends with a surprise bill of 38 dollars for late checkout. No mention had been made since check in of any checkout time of late checkout fee if one is to checkout past that time. The lady was rude and unwilling to listen even holding the gate closed insisting we pay. The mistake coming from the hotel and whoever handled check in, they eventually accepted and let us out. There needs to be better customer service and clear communication and most of all a certain level of decorum when talking to a client.

We hadden een 2kamer appartement. Prima locatie, rustig maar wel een aantal leuke restaurantjes in de buurt. Op loopafstand van het centrum. Het appartement is wel een beetje oudbollig. Vandaar de 3 sterren (prijs kwaliteit prima). Personeel is super vriendelijk en proberen je overal bij te helpen. Let wel op je persoonlijke spullen indien je de kamer laat schoonmaken. Klein zwembad! Niet gezwommen, aangezien het water echt ijskoud was.

Great option for a quieter stay but very close to Westlands and NBD! The staff was great and the rooms were beyond spacious with very comfortable amenities. The immediate area had good restaurants and quieter bars, with Westlands nightlife just a short ride away. Highly recommended!

Very spacious rooms, great amenities, and friendly staff in a quiet neighborhood still very close to the hectic Westlands and downtown Nairobi areas! A perfect choice for someone wanting to take advantage of being centrally located, but want quiet in the evenings. Walking distance to welcoming bars and restaurants!

Nous avions réservé un appartement de 4 personnes et il n'y avait assez d'eau chaude que pour 2 personnes! Les deux autres devaient se laver avec de l'eau froide. Nous nous en sommes plaint à plusieurs reprises. Résultat des courses; nous avons attrapé froid pendant notre séjour! Il fallait demander à plusieurs reprises pour avoir des serviettes de bain propres! Pour un séjour de 10 jours, nous avons eu des serviettes propres 1 fois, car on a insisté plusieurs fois Lorsque quelqu'un se décidait à venir dans notre chambre, à part le lit je n'ai jamais compris ce qu'on venait faire dans nos chambres car les serviettes de bain n'étaient pas remplacées et nous n'avions pas de papier toilette en plus. Nous sommes arrivées en rupture de papier toilette et on a dû aller en acheter par nous mêmes car il n'y en avait plus ... Nous n'avons pas testé le petit déjeuner et la piscine est petite bien qu'elle paraisse grande en photo et que le pont paraît grand aussi.

This is an outstanding place to stay. Definitely stay again!

The stay could have been excellent but the watchmen talk loudly early in the morning and this disturbs sleeping clients.

The room i was in was in need of some updating. After around 5 pm the only person around to discuss property issues with was the security guard. TV cable/satelite system was not working.

Great place to stay in Nairobi, walking distance to the shopping mall. The apartment is spacious and clam.
