維農山莊大飯店(The Mount Vernon Grand Hotel)

We stayed here the nights before and after the total solar eclipse. The supplied a pair of lenses for the event. Everyone was very accommodating and friendly. The breakfasts were good, too.

Stayed for a night, had a good rest after a long drive. To give feedback, The breakfast was fairly decent and both regular and plastic cutlery was available. (Not sure what someone else was complaining about plastic only) Nice location and view.

Front desk staff extremely friendly and helpful. Room was beautiful and immaculate and the area was very charming. Parking was convenient. Breakfast selection was a little strange, but sufficient.

It’s the best choice to stay and spend a nice beautiful nights in such a wonderful quiet place!!!

So it was okay but the more I considered the rating of this hotel the worse I felt it was. I could hear the neighbors next door until 2 am. The sink is outside of the bathroom which makes it very hard to get ready without waking everyone in the room. We had forgot our toothpaste and I figured they would have travel toothpaste to give to guests at such a nice hotel. They gave us these toothbrushes that you wet to activate toothpaste that were awful. The food at the breakfast was terrible and the plastic use was off the charts. Also the exercise room is a windowless box with 2 pieces of equipment and some free weights. Not worth the money at all!

We absolutely love this hotel! It is clean,beautiful,charming. Very hospitable and friendly. The price per night was great. We can't say enough about this little gem of a hotel and we will return again!

Check in was as expected, friendly, professional and informative. The room is neat clean and reasonably well appointed considering the cost. Only negative is my choice is a king room and none were available. That limits seating options in a somewhat small room.

The rooms are lovely, the location is great, the staff is friendly, and the breakfast is excellent. We wouldn't stay anyplace else when we visit the area.

The hotel is clean, nicely decorated for holiday season. Thermostat worked poorly in our room: temperature stayed at 71F until morning even though I lowered temperature to 65F in the evening. At breakfast, harsh brown was uncooked, completely white, lukewarm. There was no decaffeinated tea option .
