Upon initial arrival it was not bad. I had a strange feeling when I needed to give the office $10 in cash in order to get the key card and the remote, but looked past it. I shouldn’t have. Upon entry into room there was a faint smell of smoke. The door only had the one lock attached to handle and it wasn’t even screwed in all the way and had a large crunch of door missing around lock. Window did not lock. Fridge was not clean. There was hair in the bed, bathroom towels were frayed, corners of bathroom were very dirty and hair on floor. Bathroom fan was extremely dirty and hanging from ceiling. There was a large hole cut out of the wall under the bathroom sink. I checked bed for cleanliness and found hairs. I decided to not stay there, I returned two days later to check out, as I returned to the room to get the remote in order to get my $10 back, the room smelled strongly of smoke and bed was exactly as I left it with sheet pulled back. The attendant did not speak English so very difficult to communicate, had a hard time checking me out, refused to return the copy of my license back to me and did not want to give me a copy of the receipt. I was clearly not their normal clientele, but when booking online it’s difficult to tell. I felt unsafe and uneasy in the very little time I stayed there, I’m shocked at the cost of this place considered the actual conditions.
