We stayed here a year ago and had such a nice time, we decided to come back but it’s been a totally different experience. We arrived at 3 and our room was not ready (check in is 4). We went to the rooftop bar to grab a drink and were treated poorly- after they confirmed we were staying at the hotel- so we walked out. Went down to the lobby and luckily our room was ready.
We are in room 321 and there is tape holding up wood boards behind the bed. I took a shower and we had two inches of standing water throughout the bathroom because the shower door is not properly sealed. The room has stains on the wood bench area too. The room needs repairs.
On Saturday night we were dropped off by the main entrance and another car nearly hit me. The employees did nothing - did not make an attempt to help. Instead, other hotel guests stepped in, shouting at and the driver and making sure he stopped. It was an enormous scene and the staff stood and watched.
Today we went to the front desk and asked for a checkout time of noon. We were told they could not accommodate us. We explained that when we checked in we saw three different individuals checking out at 3:30 pm and didn’t understand why noon- on Monday vs. Friday when others were checking out late could not be accommodated. She said she would talk to the manager and told us they could not accommodate us because we didn’t book directly through them. I’ve asked to talk to a manager twice and no one has contacted me.
