Really nice hotel with people that are really friendly. Clean, smells really, and serviced really well. The desk staff were really friendly and helpful. Rocío cleaned and looked after my room really well! Thanks Rocio. The Spa and gym was amazing - especially the staff who were really helpful and kind. The trainer Ariel was really helpful showing me various training routines and ways for thinking about exercise - he is an expert in Judo (black belt!). Alexis was really helpful with the spa facilities. Thanks Ariel and Alexis! The beauty salon run by Azul was really good and especially with the treatments she offers! She convinced me to start looking after the smaller things about my appearance. It is the people that make a place and in this case in Hotel Marquis Reforma. I will definitely go back. Thanks Azul! First family vacay and we were expecting so much more from this hotel as advertised. They had construction that they had not previously advised. Started before 9am and went well into evening, creating lots of noise. Finally switched rooms but it took me calling 3 times and then calling 2X for service to help w/ bags. No comps offered. Had several problems with keys not working in rooms and elevators. Limited food options on-site. One young male valet service was particularly most helpful, but I barely see how this hotel is rated above 3 stars

El Hotel como tal excelente, el servicio a la habitación súper bien los alimentos muy ricos del restaurante los canarios, pero en cuanto al personal de recepción y meseros del restaurante pésimo ya que menosprecian a huéspedes nacionales, por parte del Servicio VIP no me dieron nada ni ascenso a categoría, no me dieron el beneficio de salir más tarde “pague una noche más para salir a las 6:00 pm” el estacionamiento me lo querían cobrar cuando también es un beneficio “VIP”

Todo bien, solo que dice que tiene estacionamiento pero te cobran por cada día que estás hospedado y si eso se lo sumas al costo de la habitación ya hace la diferencia. Además que al hacer checkin solo nos registramos, nos dieron la llave de la habitación y nos indicaron que era en un piso 4to pero si la atención de maletas por parte de bellboys.

One star because the elevator fell down one floor while I was in it together with my partner. It stopped and we pressed the alarm button. After some time it started moving again and we could get out. We were both very scared by this. We told the staff but they didn’t do anything, not even closed the elevator. Besides this there were many more things wrong with the service at this hotel, but where overshadowed by this. I will update my post later with more details about the service.

Ha cambiado mucho, no se siente la misma calidad de antes. Llegue tipo 6pm a la recepcion y solo habia una persona haciendo check out el cual le tomo mas de 10 minutos. ni un maletero para darme bienvenida o ayudarme con mi maleta. No habia secador de pelo en mi baño. Limpieza vinieron a hacerla mi primer dia despues de las 3pm cuando ya habia regresado a mi habitacion de estar todo el dia fuera. Solo senti la calidad y el servicio en el equipo de room services, siempre tan amables.

Es un hotel que frecuento cuando voy a CDMX, pero en esta ocasion llegue a las 9 am ya que mi vuelo llego a esa hora y pase a resguardar mi maleta y hacer el check in, me comentaron que por ser cliente ******* VIP se me haria un upgrade de habitacion solo que tenia que esperar como a la 1 pm para que me pudieran entregar la habiatacion, lo cual no vi problema, fui a dar la vuelta y volvi a las 2pm, me dijeron que no tenian la habitacion lista que esperara ya que el check in era a las 3pm, pase al bar y regrese a las 3pm me dieron una habitacion y cuando pase aun no estaba lista, regrese a recepcion y les dije que no estaba lista la habitacion y la de limpieza me dijo que iba a tardar me asignaron otra y le comente del upgrade que me habian comentado que me harian y me dijeron que no hacia upgrades, en fin, fue de mal gusto eso, y en la habitacion el sello de la puerta de la regadera estaba dañado y cuando sali de bañarme habia un charco grande de agua por fuera, muy peligroso, lo reporte y fueron a repararlo pero quedo igual, al dia siguiente tuve que poner toallas por fuera para que absorbiera toda el agua, muy bonito hotel pero esta estadia no fue placentera por esas situaciones.

Personal de recepción principalmente mujer, actitud despota. Por la noche no existe seguridad por parte del hotel a pesar de ser paseo de la reforma puede ser un tanto inseguro pero por parte del hotel no toman medidas. Nos siguió una persona en estado inconveniente y entro al hotel hasta que pudimos accesar al elevador pero nadie nos auxilio siendo las 23:00hrs
