Great hotel comfy beds service excellent Right in the heart of everything

Great location, easy walk to Beale Street. Room was very clean. Duck Parade is a must. Will definitely stay here again.

Hotel classicão, lindíssimo! Excelente localização. Pessoal muito simpático. Quarto ótimo. Duas vezes por dia tem evento com os patinhos. Às 11h00 tem q cerimônia da chegada dos patinhos à fonte que fica no centro do salão. E ficam ali o dia inteiro. E às 17h00 tem outra cerimônia, em que se retiram do local. Uma graça mesmo rsrs.

From the moment you walk into the foyer you can feel the grandeur. The magnificent fountain, the beautiful counter, the staff. This is something everyone needs to experience at least once in a lifetime. The gold embroidered ducks on the linen, the duck shaped soaps and when you get room service you get duck shaped butter. A walk around to explore and you find the grand ballroom, the cafe, the souvenir shop and so much more. The history and the splendor is beyond words

This is an amazing olde worlde grand hotel, with a lovely bar area, cafe, shops where the staff are friendly and helpful. The standard rooms are in some need of attention to detail and upgrade in my experience. I would agree with previous reviews that if you have a problem (my problem was during the evening/night) the customer service/ management assistance and resolution are sadly lacking and not very good. However once the issue had been sorted out we enjoyed a lovely few days here.

This is as about an easy 5/5 as I have ever given. I really loved staying at this hotel. The room was superb and the cleanliness exceptional. I was a British widower travelling alone. Sometimes when you stay in a really top class hotel you feel a little bit like an imposter, as I come from humble roots, but the staff in the Peabody so kind, helpful, polite and professional, I felt right at home. I really would recommend this hotel to all. While I was on vacation in the USA I stayed in many high quality hotels and many charge 'resort fees' The Peabody does not play that game. I ate breakfast in an eatery there every day (sorry cannot remember the name) which was superb. Great value, great food and great service. Thank you to all the staff at the Peabody.

Not worth the premium price. Tired hotel in need of updating. Duck show is a joke. Came down from our room almost an hour prior to 5:00 and couldn't get a seat so we waited at lobby bar to get a drink for 20 minutes only to be finally told you have to go to the back corner of the bar and stand in a line to get a drink. Then you have to stand outside of the bar area to watch. The manager escorts you out of area saying that everyone will be seated during the show so you will be able to see the show, but then does zero crowd control to enforce this policy so once the show started all of the patrons in the bar stood up to take pictures and get closer, so we saw nothing. What a waste of time and money. I told the manager the issue and he said he has trouble controlling the crowd. He obviously had poor people management skills. The following morning when we checked out, we opened our door and were overwhelmed with a stench of vaping odor in the hallway. Self-park at your own risk. There is no security in the parking deck other than a robot. The parking deck is filthy. As I walked the bridge to the parking deck, I saw a Memphis cop walking over to a car pulled over with the horn blaring. Looked like someone was in the car slumped over the wheel. The day prior we were looking out hotel window and a guy was walking in the street charging at oncoming cars until a cop came.

The Peabody is a special hotel. As you arrive there you know that this place holds history. A great and wonderful history. For those on the musical discovery staying here is a must. It’s an enormous hotel or at least feels it. The rooms are simple but excellent. It felt original and authentic. Simply wonderful. The service is fantastic. All the staff super friendly. The must do activity of the history of the hotel tour which is done a few times a week. Doug who we met M, he’s the official Duckmaster conducts a brilliant musical history tour. It’s a must. The Peabody is a wonderful place to be. Especially the bar. A great place to relax over a drink and take it all in. Enjoy every minute.

On arrival. Our Uber driver dropped us off at an entrance on B B King Blvd. This door was locked as was the next door we tried. Finally gained entry at the third attempt. Checked into our room then went to lobby for a drink at the bar. Have to say, the waitress was not particularly welcoming or helpful as we considered our choice of drinks. Not the best start to our stay. Having said that, the hotel does have a luxurious feel and the lobby area does have a great atmosphere when full of guests. Our room was small but very comfortable. Unlike European hotels, it seems that in the USA, tea/coffee making facilities is not the done thing, although coffee was available each morning in the deli area. I must highlight how charming the duck master was when we met him on our last night. He is a real credit to your establishment.

Horrific customer service with outdated policies. I secured a reservation on their website with my credit card as I had with previous stays there. The room was for a young family member as a gift who was traveling to Memphis . When he arrives they will not let him in room without him paying with a separate card??? I call and speak to one person, they tell me they have to have a physical card and the one I booked the room with they can’t charge??? So my family member calls me in distress because he doesn’t have a card to put in on, a college student not used to a 400 dollar charge. The person on the phone tells me repeatedly he has to send me a authorization form to complete and then they can run my card, I’m driving so I say I’ll pull over and fill it out to solve the issue, then they backtrack and say no it has to be done three days prior. I tell them I pay for 30yrs of Hilton and Marriott stays on my card all the time and they charge my card instantly, same with Amazon, Starbucks, Chick Fila, all on an app, the manager there says “ We are not those businesses “, I asked when they were going to wake up to 2024 for payment reception. I mean if some customer is literally begging you to run their credit card you say, “Of course and thank you”. Had to Venmo the youngster to deposit to a card he could use which negated my Amex points opportunity. The entire world uses a credit card to pay for trillions of things without the card ever being physically available. Thanks for nothing and ruining the excitement of a young man’s trip to your pathetic, outdated , rigid, ******* policies. Hope someone can actually wake up to America in 2024. Can’t wait to spread the news. Do better.

We had a problem with our room but I have too say it was handled impressively these staff members go above and beyond we stayed on 4th floor room was spacious food downstairs was nice but the highlight was the ducks for our 11 year old she got to help roll the red carpet out and the duck master is her new favourite person they are lovely to kids which makes a big difference of which hotel to book on another visit rooms are pricey but you get what you pay for a wonderful experience

The Peabody is beautiful beyond words and the staff was welcoming, professional, talented and kind. We stayed two nights in an immaculate King Suite; very much enjoyed time in the lobby soaking in the ambiance, with top notch Scotch and also cocktails. The morning complementary coffee and tea in main floor coffee and deli is much better that slopping it together in the room. Quiet, great parking setup and convenient location to river parks, Beale Street and shopping.

Overall the history of the hotel is amazing to have learned. All staff were friendly and welcoming. The food was good, the French toast was amazing and very filling. The beds, OMG LOVE them, they are very comfortable. The duck wal was the cutest thing to have watched during my week stay there. I would definitely go back.

As always, once you arrive, you will be treated like a VIP. Starting with the valet service and to the front desk. All staff are so pleasant and helpful. The main lobby is the happening area to be. Just so beautiful and it makes you feel like you never want to leave. From the freshly cut flowers, to the furnishings and of course, the ducks.
